I love the fuzzy inside but just wish the fuzziness extended all the way down to the tip of the hat. It kept my head quite cozy and warm when we were visiting Niagara Falls on a very very cold day but I kept having to readjust and pull down the hat to cover my ears as it would ride up as we were walking around. And I have a pretty small head. I wore it again last weekend and had the same issue. I love the hat but am looking for another because of this problem. The neck warmer is really awesome - does its job so well that my neck sweats. Lol

This winter cap and matching gaiter is of a very good quality but there's nothing "slouchy" about the cap. It fits the head well, with a good stretch for larger heads or women with long or thick hair. The knit is a thick cable knit. The quality of this set is considerably enhanced by the sewn-in fleece lining that prevents itching from the wool blend. For those of us with fine hair, the lining prevents hair loss as a result of itchy wool on the scalp. Now, I do not need to tie a small satin scarf around my head in order to wear wool caps! The gaiter scarf is not a traditional one. This one is a pull-over that sits nicely around the neck, without choking the wearer, and can be pulled up below the eyes on very cold days. I highly recommend this as a gift for self and others.

OMGGGG... this hat and scarf combo are the BOMB. I bought for my 9 year old for Christmas but plan to buy for myself. They are so warm and soft and perfect for cold weather. The scarf is a little snug but i like that because it stays in place and doesn't slouch down. For the price they are totally worth the purchase. Its a perfect gift or perfect to buy for yourself. This hat combo is AMAZING!! I bought it for visiting my family in NC and we went snow tubing and everyone was making fun of me for looking like a tourist, but let me tell you that while everyone else was holding their hands over their face to warm up their nose and cheeks and cupping their ears over their beanies, I was toasty warm with the hat and face cover! I even saw other people in line pointing at my cover and talking about how they wish they had one. It is SO warm and soft and I’m planning on buying it again in a few different colors. My daughter was so jealous she didn’t have one. Totally worth every penny, and it wasn’t even pricey!

I washed it once in the machine and all the wool came out. Waste of money if you want something sturdy.
