Septic Tank Treatment, 1/2-Gallon - 80001

My kitchen drain smelled very bad. I have a septic tank that was recently pumped out so it was not the issue. I would pour some of this product into the drains at night and after one treatment the smell was gone. I also treat my septic tank with the directed amount. Great stuff.

I originally couldn’t tell you if this stuff worked, I mean how would I know? The septic system we have is for a three bedroom ranch, that’s 45 years old. I’ve lived in the house for the last 4 years and the septic was serviced in 2017. I use a whole bottle of this every three months. The proof I have is I had the tank pumped this year and the guy doing this said he hasn’t ever seen a tank so good ever, he told us to keep doing what ever is we were doing. It is an aerator system, so there’s no leach bed to worry about. So I highly recommend this. I started using it on the recommendation of Gary Sullivan, who has a a radio home improvement show on Saturdays.

I live in a rural area in Northern California where all residents have septic systems. I use drainbow on a regular basis to keep the system healthy and flowing. A backed up system is very expensive to correct. the price of this product is acceptable. if you buy it through a plumbing company they will charge you more than twice the cost. This product is by far the best septic system treatment I have used over the past 30 years I have lived in my home. Whenever I am at the local hardware and I observe someone viewing septic treatment products, I always recommend Drainbow to them. When your old, like me, people tend to listen to your advice. lol.

Hard to tell. This is something you benefit from over time. However, you can find it at about half the price at Grove. If I had known...

Easy to use. Bought a bunch to add to the septic regularly. I would think that adding it regularly would be important rather than a one time thing. I'm not sold on it. Sad to say I Just can't tell if it's doing anything.

Septic tank additive

My field was saturated with some organic material around the trays. I followed the directions and it restored my field to almost peak performance. I just bought another 4 units for the next 4 months of maintenance. I’m footings use once per month all fall & winter and I expect it will keep everything flowing. Definitely use this before you dig up your septic field. Saved me a ton of cash!!
