The sambal always paired great with many things: from bakso (indonesian meatball soup), fried tofu & tempeh, fried or grilled meat (chicken, beef BBQ, ribs, etc), eggs (scrambled, omelette, sunny side up, etc), ramen, bibimbap, fried or steamed wontons/dumplings, and many more.

Sweet and spicy..very good flavor!

I like it more than I thought I would. Like Sriracha but thicker and more complex.
When I first got the Saus Cabe, I was disappointed and thought, "this is just like sriracha!" After I used it a bit I realized that while it is not only thicker, the sweetness is more complex. I suspect it is because sweet potato is one of the ingredients. I like it a lot better than sriracha now. It is thicker and VERY SLIGHTLY less hot than sriracha. I really enjoy it and would take Saus Cabe over sriracha any time. I like it.
