Fantastic tool for emotional education
These beautiful little toys are very well made. I’d seen them in stores years ago long before I became a therapist. I’m really grateful that they are still being made. A wonderful tool for teaching children more about emotional expression and empathy, whether in a therapeutic, educational or home environment. Great range of emotions and clear expressions. They are expensive but it’s quite worthwhile.

Overpriced but pay off in the long run
They really get my kid talking, I use them on and off with other activities/tools, so I like them. They are way overpriced especially since they don’t include the larger pouch kimochis, but I can’t put a price on a child’s mental health, they’re super cute.

Therapists, Teachers, Parents - its not worth the splurge
Unfortunately the product came with multiple kimochis without any faces/feelings listed. I’m a new therapist building my collection of tools for session and I was disappointed that such a notable/expensive brand had low quality control. $100 is not cheap, especially for people working in helping professions. The product is made from a simple felt, it is objectively overpriced for the item. However, I felt that it was worth it as I loved the range of feelings offered in the set as well as the cute designs. To be missing 3 emotions from a set of simple felt toys that are $100 is insane. I almost feel like the low quality control combined with the pricing feels borderline predatory as there’s not many other products on the market like this and no way to contact the brand about order issues. I’m glad most of the kimochis are okay but I will not purchase from this brand again. I could have used the $100 to make the felt emotions myself.

Awesome, high quality, but...pricey
Loved this product and use it with kiddos at school. Really sturdy, high quality, kids LOVE them (and they hold up to all the use) but rather pricey. Still, would order again.

Best social emotional tool out there.
This is one of the best things I've bought for my childcare center in a long time. The concept behind these is brilliant. The kids LOVE them and there is a huge amount of free resources from their website that go with these. I highly recommend these in every classroom from infants to middle school.
