This device is doing wonderful things for me.
I have a lot of instability in my lumbar spine where it meets the sacrum. It cased me a lot of problems walking. After just a few steps I started to look like a comma. My posture was terrible. It was even making it hard to hold my head up, my head felt like it had somehow gained a bunch of weight. And that would force me to sit down much faster then I wanted too. I'm an RN who after many years working in the ER my back was trashed. I should have known what to do but I was skeptical of braces. Here's where the story goes sideways for a moment. I needed a new holster for concealed carry hand gun. So I tried a belly band. It sound like it work well. The minute I put five or six inch wide elastic holster on, my posture improved immediately. I could stand around an talk with discomfort. I walk an turn a corner with it hurting. I was amazed. I found myself wearing my empty holster all day long. So last week I took the plunge because not only is this brace wider than my holster. It has a built in lumber support cushion. And you can chinch up the brace with the velcro elastic adjusters, and that part is just great. I like wearing a tight like the corsets ladies used to wear. But anyone can adjust this thing to the sure them needs and comfort. I wear my now from the time I get up until I go to bed for the night. I live in Northern Michigan so it hasn't been at hot yet. But we had two really humid days. And I didn't detect any problems with sweating under the brace. And I was sweating on my shoulders. The brace is made from materials that let it breathe, so I don't think it will be a problem even in the August. Besides this just feels way to good to give it up for a little extra warmth (if that happens). If like me, you've never tried one things and and have low back pain or just want to have a stable brace for your back. This one is a great option, and it was actually cheaper than my narrower far less adjustable holster. Heartily recommended! 5 stars for pain relief, 5 stars for support, 5 stars for adjustability, and 5 stars for price.

Excellent, affordable, comfortable back brace
I saw braces way more expensive than this, but they looked the same, so I took a chance and ordered the cheaper one. What a deal! Its got lots of velcro so its easy to adjust the straps however you want. It's very supportive, helps with back pain and is super comfortable - I don't even know its there.

Value for money product and effective.
I had recently developed lower back pain issues and was looking for back support braces to be used while travelling or in case of sever pain. I tried a few variant from offline stores as well as online and after trying a bunch, I ended up using this particular brace as it was the most comfortable of the lot. Also, it was real value for money for the price I paid. Almost all the other products I tried either had support rods missing to provide the right support to lower back or did not had ample cushion. This was a sweet spot solving both of these problems for me. Although, with usage I have seen a lot of lint formation on the straps but I believe that is likely for all such belts that use the velcro mechanism. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product for relief from lower back issues.

Excellent purchase works exceptionally well! 👍
I have osteoarthritis and degenerative joint disease. I've suffered for a number of years but more so the past 5 months with a mid back herniated disc and a lower back compressed nerve. I've tried medically fitted back braces and recieved no relief at all, nor did they fit well at all. I've waisted a lot of money on back braces. My Physical Therapist helped me pick this FlexGuard back brace out and oh what a difference it seriously makes!! My Orthopedic Dr does not recommend wearing a back brace for long periods at a time with the severity of damage in my back. He is so pleased with the relief I'm getting from this brace he took down the information about it to recommend to other patients. I wear it to do dishes, laundry, drive, vacuum, e.t.c, and am now able to go for longer walks. I can now also sit through my grandkids music concerts for 2 hours. I'm amazed at the positive results I'm getting from this back brace. It is easier to put on and take off than others I've purchased. It does not move at all once it is securely put in place. It stays exactly where I put it, even when bending. I really do like the added lumbar pad, as it gives additional support exactly where I need it. This pad is almost like a counter-pressure which not only helps with pain, but also my posture. I would also recommend this to anyone for long periods of wear such as working on your feet all day long, due to the comfort in wearing it. It is also very well made and durable. I HIGHLY recommend the FlexGuard back brace and wish the same positive results to everyone as I have gotten from it... 👍

Great support, great price.
I actually really like this product, wish it were a bit wider on the midrif(and maybe even the back), but I always feel like that. I'm not tall 6ft, 220lbs. I've worked for ups for 6 harrowing years, and wear this(usually) for 4 to 5 hours a day(maybe I'm using it too much, maybe I expect too much, but it's my back, and I demand a good product for it). Sure, the stretch material gets stretched out, but it still works perfect. However, the stitching started to come lose in the first 3 months on the center rear support bar and one of the pull tabs lost stitching in the rear too. In the last 3 months, the stitching on the pull tabs in the front started to tear as well. Will buy another. The market on back braces/back support is so very trash that it's hard to find a decent one that won't fall to s*** after 2 months. In my extensive experience using various back support products, this is one of the few that I would ever recommend. It is a good product. As a side note to the maker(if they aren't the seller) and anyone who might know what I'm talking about: It baffles me that I cannot for the life of me find a back and chest support that isn't designed like garbage. I had a great one a few years ago I used with a rescue squad I was on, but they weren't produced anymore. It was a back support, similar to your "back and chest supports", with a hardened spine, built into a vest. After securing the waist, there may have been a zipper, and there were 2 (2" wide) thick built in straps around the waist that each had very thick hardened plastic buckles. To top it off, there was a 1" wide built in strap at the chest to secure the shoulders together. It's similar to a tool vest, but with support and lifting in mind. I don't know who built it, and no one I worked with knows either. But I think you could pull it off.

Great lower back brace at a reasonable price
At 71 years old, I have unfortunately worn a back brace for many years. My large Santa belly is partially to blame. I have tried many different styles over the years and this FlexGuard is much improved over the others. I have worn it almost two weeks to give it a true evaluation. The three vertical steel "stays" in the back prevent the brace from rolling like so many have done in the past. The tightening pulley system on the side straps for adjusting the snugness make it easy to apply proper pressure. Medicare paid for a "professional" back brace at the orthopedic office in 2017. Medicare will replace it in 5 years. The cost to buy one is over $300. I am active and sweat a lot when working outside in Texas. This FlexGuard brace for less than $30 gives me the same feel as the "professional". My back is weak and sore when I awake. I wear it under my shirts when possible and it hardly visible. I put on this brace and feel secure with much less pain. I am able to stand for long periods and mow the yard when it is not too hot.

Works, but can be better
This works, but not really well enough for my needs. I work as a stagehand, which involves a lot of lifting, crouching, climbing, bending,, pushing and crawling. I often work 14 hour days and need to be a pack horse and a ninja. My back is often in pain. Wearing this does provide decent support and I can tell it helps strengthen my back and helps prevent reinjury, but it also has many flaws. It cuts into my pelvic bone on my hips and pushes in my pants belt and seam imprinting painfully into the flesh of my abdomen and waist line. I know this is largely from bending over and crouching, but this belt itself has folded in front only after a few uses. This probably is because I wear it as tightly as possible, which probably wouldn't be necessary were it not for a design flaw. I largely chose this belt because of the criss-cross straps in back which looked like it'd snug up the mid back and metal supports nicely, however it's not the case because instead of those straps being nylon, they are elastic. In order to get a firm fit in back, all layers need to be as tight as possible, where if the straps were nylon, the inner layer could be worn looser, be less restrictive, and provide better back support. I've tried wearing the inner layer looser, but it's impossible to get the back straps tight because they're sewn in at the center, you need to pull it through it's maximum stretch, at which point the inner layer shifts so once you secure the velcro it's crooked, and then too tight to align the back to center. As it is, needing every layer tight, the material in front is too wide to bend over, crouch or crawl without cutting in, and the back still isn't tight enough. Nylon straps in back would make a world of difference. If I were to redesign this, I'd omit the inner layer, replace the elastic straps with nylon (not sewn in) and replace the velcro with a buckle, otherwise, I think this is a good product, I like the pads and metal reinforcement. I'm considering wearing it more in my down time and less at work, so I can benefit from it strengthening the back and correcting posture without causing pain cutting into my belly. It really is quite painful after several hours, and slows down my work performance. In general, I think I'd be better off with a thick leather belt with a buckle. I can't speak to all back pain, or work situations, but chances are, your back hurts from lifting while bending over. If that's the case, there's got to be better choices than this. If you're merely on your feet alot, this could be a good choice for you.

seems to fit and provide support while walking
It satisfies my temporary-I hope-need for additional lower back support-at least in the 1 time since receiving the product I was able to use it while walking. I believe it will function as I need for the immediate future
