Grandfather Twilight (Paperstar Book)

One of my favorites as a kid. Beautiful, soothing art. Love the animals throughout. Says “good night” at the end, yay :)

This is an older book but a classic. It is perfect as a read aloud to a little one at nap or bedtime. Lovely, gentle, imaginative story with beautiful illustrations.

This is a beautiful book. It is my go to for new parents. The story is peaceful and the pictures are stunning. We read this to my now adult children when they were tiny. It still sits on the shelf when my grandchildren are here

There’s comfort here, like a fresh from the line quilt for a cold winter’s night. For our youngest child, this was his #1 favorite of all time and had to be in the mix of selections each night. This is not a book he ever tired of hearing and it sits on a shelf waiting for his own children to share in his childhood experience with this tender, beautiful story about the kindly Grandfather. Barbara Berger presents a quiet feast to children just before they drift off to dreamland. Altogether, cosy perfection.

One of our favorite books to give to new babies and preschoolers. I read this to my now adult children. They are in turn reading it to their children. I LOVE the art work, the gentle nature of the characters and the flow. Great book

This is a most wonderful book with framable illustrations! It is very calming.

B. Helen Berger's books have been greatly enjoyed by my granddaughters. This book has been read at least 20 times if not more; a favorite bedtime book, one granddaughter would act out the taking of the pearl and holding it in her hand. A serenity and quiet came over the children as I read it in a hushed voice.

This is a beautiful book for children at night time. My kids loved it and my grandchildren will be able to enjoy this now too

An enchanting read aloud picture story book The illustrations stimulate wonder.. Perfectly balanced picture book between text and illustrations. All ages. Older readers will see more meaning to the book based on the their experience.
