A lot of screws and a defective part
Just finishing assembly and only one led lights. Many screws were missing (I had some from previous models), motor runs and sound is ok. A lot of the illust rations are vague. I think the distributor is defective, not worth the time to takeep it all apart. Would not advise any one to purchase this item. They do not havery replacement parts.

Fun and frustrating at the same time.
I got this for my BF as a nostalgic gift. He has (collectively) a couple of hours into it already. The instructions are very vague and if you don't know anything about engines you may have a hard time putting this together. If you know too much about engines you will have a hard time as well because you will over-think it. It is not exact, it is a model. For example, the lobes on one camshaft are correct and make sense to open and close the valves properly. The other side is assembled pairing "like" lobes together and he's sure it will throw the whole timing off. So far, the only parts missing are 2 springs for the valve train. Very important pieces and he's not sure it will even work. One review states that replacement parts aren't available. It is a difficult decision once you have spent the time putting it together to just stop and request a return, but I think it will be more disappointing to spend even more time on it, only to find out it doesn't work at all and you can't order the missing parts you need.
