I've used other Chi products in the past, with positive results. This one doesn't disappoint. It's perfect for when I flat iron my hair. It also helps to add a little shine. It leaves my hair feeling soft. The scent is decent, the same as similar Chi products. A very good quality hair product. Great value for the money. It's definitely a new favorite to keep around, for my hair care, styling and maintenance.

Great product and value, this bottle will last me 6 months and I've got very long hair. Not greasy, only need a small amount. Transforms my dry hair and smells fantastic. Love the way my hair looks, feels and smells when I use a dab of this.

I’ve been using it on my dry, damaged ends after heat styling, and it definitely helps smooth frizz and adds a healthy-looking gloss. The keratin and silk proteins do provide some restorative benefits—my hair feels softer and looks healthier after consistent use. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts quite a while, which makes it good value for the price point. That said, it’s not quite as transformative as professional salon treatments or higher-end serums. While it improves the surface appearance and texture, it doesn’t deeply repair significant damage or provide the same long-lasting conditioning that you’d get from premium products like Olaplex or Kerastase. The shine is nice but fades by the end of the day, and severely damaged hair will need more intensive treatment. For everyday use and maintaining relatively healthy hair, this is an excellent affordable choice. Just don’t expect miracles if you’re dealing with seriously compromised or chemically treated hair. This hair serum is amazing! Leaves my hair soft, silky, reduces frizz, fly-aways, and it has a pleasant scent. You don’t need to use much to get results. It also helps to reduce blow-dry time, and leaves hair looking shinier.

I have looked high & low for a good, clear, silk-infused treatment for my hair, that doesn't stink. I have used the Bio-Silk formula, but my local stores haven't had it in-stock lately. I also tried the basic, red-lettered CHI Silk Infusion. I liked the product, but not the smell. I have asthma, so I have to be careful with hair products that are strongly or wrongly scented for me. Certain scents induce breathing issues. A couple of years ago, I used Regis Design Line Silk Drops. It was amazing and had a fresh, clean smell. Sadly, they changed the fragrance, and I could no longer use. A nightmare for me is the modern, heavy-bodied, perfumy scents that are all the rage now. The most popular seem to be infused with a musky, heavy, vanilla odor. I can handle most fresh, floral or fruity smells. That musky, vanilla scent is nauseating to me, not to mention takes my breath away! Vanilla is great for baking, but who wants their hair or perfume to smell like that! For those that are wondering, this CHI Keratin Silk Infusion smells a bit different than their red-capped/red-lettered formula. It has a lighter fragrance with a somewhat citrusy tone. It works great, as long as you don't use too much. It softens & helps detangle, adding a bit of moisture & shine. My hair is color-treated, so I thought this would work better, to help strengthen. The smell doesn't bother me either. I count that as a win/win! Was so happy to find it here on Amazon!

I love how this makes my hair very silky, soft, shiny and it smells very good.

It only takes a pea sized amount of this hair serum to smooth and tame flyaways and frizz in my long hair. It lasts a very long time and has little to almost no smell at all, definitely a good buy.

What is the sediment at the bottom of the bottle? It’s reddish and there are a few flecks of it. I hope to get an answer on this soon. I won’t be using it until then. This formula doesn’t smell anything like any of the previous bottles I’ve purchased over the years. This of course could be due to a new formula as the bottle looks different from past bottles too. (The little bottle is my old empty one)
