Tub Grip

I am always very wary about slipping in the bath or shower as breaking your leg when naked is not ideal. I cleaned our new shower bath just with normal cleaner, I was worried about using too abrasive cleaner, it was a new bath after all. The roller brush supplied is easy to use and the bottle was sufficient to cover the whole of the base of our large P shaped bath. It has been 4 months since I applied this and it is still working brilliantly. Feels like soft sand under your feet and no slipping. Would highly recommend to all ages.

I've exactly followed the guidelines for a good application. (Thoroughly cleaning before application, letting dry for several hours, waited 2 days before using...) The result was very disappointing. The texture is very rough. And after only a few month it's almost completely gone. Also the terrible smell took weeks before going away from my bathroom. I would highly recommend not to buy and find a better brand.

My wife slipped over in our corner shower cubicle and hurt herself quite badly we can't use a matt as the cubicle is of the low profile type with a central quick drainage drain and it would overflow so I thought I would try this anti slip coating it was so easy to apply and looks fine it is difficult to wipe clean as it is a rough surface so I just rinse it with clean water from the shower and leave it to dry it does at first feel a bit strange on your feet but you soon get use to it and no more slipping the grip is just so good it makes you feel so safe its been some 6 months now since it was applied and so far no sign of any degradation but even if I had to reapply every year it would be worthwhile. From one very satisfied customer.

This product works. It provides a good anti-slip coating that is easy to apply and works. Problem arises with cleaning as the rough surface created makes it difficult to remove hairs; you need a hose to clean the shower tray. A small downside if you want a non-slip surface

We have a full length shower tray, I was always concerned about slipping. We considered purchasing the sticky strips, but I thought they would come unstuck after a time. I looked at a similar product to this one on one of the popular plumb sites, but at near £90 I was dubious. This product arrived, I read the instructions and followed them, cleaned using white spirit, and luckily we had wet and dry paper in the shed (it would be helpful if this product came with a small sheet, not every one has the wet and dry ), I gave the tray a light rub with the wet and dry, wiped over again with the white spirit, the bottle is small, again thinking will this cover? It did, I kept a little over too, just incase I missed an area. I let it dry the from 4pm until the morning. It is Brilliant, I felt so much safer. It is very soft underfoot. The product has been down over 1 week, I checked the area, I can see absolutely no reason this will lift or peel. Preparation is key. This product is a definite great purchase highly recommend.

I'm now confident to stand on one soapy foot in the bath without fear of immanent injury. Sort of a slightly bumpy finish that you do notice if you lie in the bath and wriggle about, but not horrible. A must for showering without fear of slipping though. Do use the little sponge roller that comes with it as that helps to create the correct texture. [Edit: After a year it discoloured, now 21 months after applying it it is starting to flake off]

An excellent product. We previously had non slip circular pads on our shower tray which were fine but had become horribly discoloured. Thought I would give Tub Grip a try. I watched the video before starting and noted that the base had to be cleaned thoroughly before applying the product. The pads left an adhesive residue when I peeled them off so I used white spirit to remove this. I then used "Barkeepers Friend" to clean the base thoroughly. Having rinsed and dried the base I applied the product evenly over the tray and then spread it out using the roller. I left it to dry for 12 hours but it actually felt touch dry within a couple of hours. The shower tray has now been transformed with a lovely clean non slip base. It feels like fine sand under your feet. I would definitely recommend this product and have no reservations in giving it 5 stars.

Ayant fait l’erreur d’acheter un bac de douche sans antidérapant, j’ai d’abord utilisé les rondelles autocollants. Celles-ci ont très bien fonctionnnees, pendant plus de 5 ans mais on finis par noircir sur les bords. Quand ce tout petit flacon est arrive j’étais assez sceptique mais le résultat est excellent. Au lieu de peindre la totalité de mon bac j’ai appliqué le produit en lignes horizontale en utilisant des bandes de papier autocollant pour séparer les bandes. Le résultat est très professionnel et l’effet antidérapant absolument parfait. Je suis ravie. Maintenant il faut voir comment cela tient dans le temps.

I used this on my 25 year old Acrylic tub that still looked like new, but the slightly bumpy bottom was feeling slick. I was in my 30s when I renovated and put in the tub, but in my 50s, I am not as steady After several near falls, and trying 7 different mats and anti slip stickers.... I found this wonder product. In the following 4 years in this home, the texture held up and I never struggled with staying upright! I was not able to use the tub for soaking, so I am not sure how well the finish would have lasted if baths were taken. The tiny bottle and price may make you hesitate, but it was my best safety modification I made as I aged and dealt with seizure issues.

Prezzo a mio parere un pò caro. Steso in due piatti doccia alla data odierna mi ritengo molto soddisfatto. La grip è delicata e non da alcun fastidio, è invisibile.

I have an elderly mother who complained about a slippery acrylic/fibreglass shower base. Applied the product and she has never been happier with such a result. Highly recommended.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Fantastic product. We bought from Slip Drs originally (4 months ago) for my elderly moms shower and it was so easy to apply and worked so well that we ordered 2 more bottles, on Amazon, for my sisters house. The productssmell isn't offensive while applying, dries quickly, and the sandy grit is not uncomfortable to stand on. My mom says that she really doesn't notice its even there. Its clear so it doesn't alter the color of the tub or shower. Its easy, permanent (so far) and safer than decals or mats. Plus you don't have to worry about mold or mildew that mats or dwcals collect.
