*Update 2: Three years later and I own two of these fleecy versions and four of the regular. My friend mentioned in this review gifted them to six people in her family for that same Christmas. They all loved it. All of them have held their color perfectly and are as soft as always, even after three years of washing. AND - as if by a miracle of Christmas Magic - they added CHRISTMAS-Y/WINTRY PATTERNS. I have a snowflake printed, red fleece-lined one that I swear, I must've stolen from Santa's very own bed (good thing the elves can make him more, huh?). You really should buy this blanket. Or buy six. Your call. But I vote for six.* *Almost a year later, and I am a blanket evangelist. I stand by everything I've said in this original review. It washes well, holds its softness and color and is just... THE MOST AMAZING BLANKET EVER. Not only that, but they've added new colors and I may need another one, since I gave one to our dog.* This blanket. I don't have words for the love that is this blanket. I thought about writing a love poem to it, but that seemed a bit much. But it needs a warning. You will buy one. You will love it. You will discover it is the softest, warmest, coziest blanket that has ever been made. In the history of blankets, there's never been a better one. No, really. Not if cozy and soft are your goals, anyway. You will tell people about it. They will want one. It started with my navy one, in the larger size. Then I knew my best friend who has an obsession with both blankets and the color purple (because duh, purple is awesome) would want one. So I ordered her one as an early Christmas gift. She just finished telling me how she now needs at least three more for other places in the house. This was after she IM'd me with OMG I LOVE MY BLANKET. I sent my mom a large red one for her birthday. My nephew, who is six, helped her unpack it. When he took it out he gushed about how soft it was and how he loved it. He told her, Grandma I need to warm it up for you tonight. So she let him borrow it. I then ordered him a light blue one (as an early Christmas gift, to keep him warm while he waits for Santa), which is a good thing because the second night he told her, I'm just gonna borrow your blanket for one more night, okay Grandma? And how could she say no to that? So he was delighted when the next day his own blanket arrived in his very favorite color. Although he did make a point of telling me he likes green, too. So a green one would be okay. You will feel like you're sleeping in Santa's bed with this thing. It belongs in the North Pole. It makes me believe in Santa and the magic of Christmas, because really there is no other possible explanation for anything so cozy and soft and perfect. I want a red one. And a purple one. Did I mention that all of this has transpired in under a month? And I've got two more friends who want one. SEE? It should come with a warning label that says: Caution... everyone you know will want this blanket. Buy this blanket. You know you want to. You know you want to feel enveloped in its cozy embrace. Trust me. Pick a color and buy it. Buy three. You'll need at least three. Especially if there are other people or pets in your house likely to steal yours. But whatever you do, stop looking for the perfect blanket. Because here it is. Right here. Waiting for you to love it and snuggle it. How can you refuse it's fluffy softness? Super soft, warm, comfortable and cute. Ordered this for my dad who is always cold. He absolutely loves it and uses it daily. Its so soft and big. Him and my dog always cuddle up in it. Its great quality and worth the price.

I was looking for a warmer throw blanket, so I took a chance on this little gem because of the Sherpa fleece. I decided to wash it first since the chemical smells of most things will give me a headache, but out of the bag, this wasn't too overly offensive. I'd be lying if I didn't say that was I concerned about whether the sherpa fleece was going to make it through a wash and dry cycle. I was worried that the blanket would look like a bald man with three strands of hair left, doing a cobweb comb over, but much to my surprise, it washed and dried perfectly. A quick check of the dryer lint catcher only had 2 tiny balls of lint in it which shocked me beyond belief. Prior to being washed, the blanket was soft, but after being washed, it's even more soft and cozy. As for the warmth factor, it is PERFECTION !! My only regret is that I didn't check to see if they had a bigger one, which I may have to get now too. Weight wise, it's not too heavy, and not too light, it's like baby bear's porridge, just right. Another added bonus is that the sherpa fleece does not shed on your clothes either, which also surprised me, because I was wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and it didn't leave any fuzzy white transfer. If you were on the fence about whether or not this is worth the money, especially when things seem to cost more and end up being a disappointment, this is not one of those cases, and it was a very pleasant surprise indeed.

a little miss leading, could be my fault but with the product saying warming blanket and showing up in electric heated blankets search I was expecting a heated blanket but instead paid $40 for a regular blanket. its good quaily and warm but not worth $40.

This is the best blanket I have ever owned. It's lighter than previous ones I've had, yet so much warmer. It only takes a few minutes to get toasty warm. I barely have time to settle in before I feel the warmth. It's gotten me through some of the coldest, windy nights. I had to turn the thermostat down even though I sleep next to a drafty window. It's soft and easy to wash. Just get it. You won't be sorry. BTW - This is the perfect blanket for elderly people who have a tendency to require more heat to keep reasonable warm. That it is lighter is another plus for them too.

I bought this blanket in 2020 and six years later it is still warm, soft, comfortable and attractive. It is simply a very good blanket.

I have a new favorite blanket! This blanket is the perfect weight and size and is very soft. It does fit into a standard size washer and dryer. I might just have have to order another!

I WAS EXCITED TO GET THIS BLANKET BUT I WAS DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE IT ARRIVED LATE. IT'S SOFT AND THICK BUT HAD A TERRIBLE SMELL WHEN I TOOK IT FROM THE BAG AND IT'S SHEDDING AS WELL. MOREOVER, I ORDERED A BLUE BLANKET WITH WHITE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE, BUT I RECEIVED AN ALL WHITE BLANKET, SO DEFINITELY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT WAS DESCRIBED AND PURCHASED. I WOULD NIT RECOMMEND NOR PURCHASE AGAIN. IT'S NOT WORTH IT.

delivered in 2 days to a rural address! wow! the sherpa fleece blanket is much softer than I thought it would, very snuggly and light. It covers my queen size bed top without draping or pulling to the sides. Perfect for a single sleeper.
