Perfect Hue and Brightness
I purchased the CREE BR30 LED Flood bulb in Bright White (3000K) that is 100W equivalent using only 16W and putting out 1400 lumens. I'm very pleased with the flood light! It's the perfect hue with the 1400 lumen brightness. It's yellow, but not too yellow, and the 90+CRI richness creates more contrast and shadow, which is what I needed to see better (I'm visually impaired and contrast and shadow help define things in the room better). I did get a little delay when I turned it on for the very first time, but after that, no more delays since. It's rated to last 22+ years if used 3 hours a day, and it has a 10 year 100% guarantee! So I hope it's going to be a long, long time from now before I write a review about it's longevity! Shot, I might be dead by then if it lasts 22 years! This bulb is a little more pricey than the other bulbs, but I'm happy with the light output, and good quality bright light matters when your vision starts to fail you! It took me forever to decide which brand of LED BR30 recessed flood bulb to purchase. I wanted a 100W equivalent bulb that cast a Natural hue (3500K to 4000K range). It it's too yellow, the room is too dark, and if it's too blue, the room has no contrast, so I needed something in between daylight and soft white. It was very hard to find a good quality LED BR30 flood bulb that is equivalent to 100W, let alone one in a Natural hue tone and I almost gave up. I finally started to go to the manufacturer's websites to find if they even made such a thing, and I found the CREE brand website. I think the CREE brand puts out a pretty good BR30 bulb, and even though I could not find 100W equivalent in the 3500K to 4000K range, they did have one in 3000K (Bright White) so I thought I would give it a go. I'm pleased with the 3000K, but I think I would like a 3500K better, if I could find one.

Worth the cost; bright, high-quality light
These bulbs are worth the extra cost in cases where you need a bit more brightness, especially for high ceilings. We have 9 foot ceilings and I wanted a brighter light above our master shower. This one is perfect and provides the extra light we needed and also produces beautiful. pure color tones. It is noticeably brighter than the 65 watt equivalent LED it replaced and for the space and with the ceiling height it is the perfect amount of light. I am completely satisfied with this purchase and hope that the bulb will last a long time, as LEDs typically do. If it fails I will update my review accordingly. CREE makes very good quality LEDs, so I'm fairly confident that it will last.

Description did not match what was received
Like another reviewer, the box that I received, shipped from Cree to Amazon to me, only contained 12 bulbs. I reported the discrepancy to Amazon, and their customer support was very accommodating. The bulbs that I received have the same model number without the -mp on the end. They emit, not 655, but 680 lumens, the same as presently shown on the Cree website. Since I just installed some of the them, I cannot attest to their reliability, but may they last at least as long as their warrantied 10 years. While they are installed in the kitchen, I also tested two of them in the dining area with its dimmer switch. The switch is over 15 years old, so surely it is not rated for dimmable LED bulbs. No flickering! I did hear a quiet but still noticeable hum. With incandescent bulbs only, any hum was imperceptible. Hopefully a switch rated for LEDs will fix the hum, but I have enough spare incandescents to postpone that replacement for years. As reported by another reviewer, the bulbs did not dim nearly as much as the incandescents. They dimmed, but then reached a level where they would not dim anymore. Unless a dimmer switch rated for LEDs supports a lower light emission of light, unlikely based on that other review, you will need to use real candles if you want the candlelight-dinner ambience.

5000 degree color temperature - looks stark white but works fine so far
It is 5000K color temperature - looks very cool white. Be careful buying if you need warmer lighting. Brightness looks fine. Good light dispersal. I'm using them in an outdoor security light fixture. The 5000K colo temperature is ok in this application but would look very cool for an indoor application. These may be OK in an industrial application but not, for example, in a home's living room which needs warmer lighting. The very cool white is not too obvious because the box says high CRI index of 90. Natural daylight has a CRI index of 100. Ad is uncear that it is nowhere near a warmer light

Great halogen replacements for people with old Lutron automation (2003 era).
We have older Lutron lighting system and other LED bulbs we’ve tried would flicker when low dimming, stay on when “off”, or flicker to on and off dramatically when brought to a certain brightness. These CREE led bulbs were recommended to us (even tho they cost about 3x more than others) because they just work perfect. They are quiet, no flicker, brighter, and cool to touch (some LED bulbs get hot as heck). THESE are what all the LED hype is about. My advice: try them. If you don’t think they are the best you’ve ever tried, just return them. We won’t be returning, in fact I just spent several hundred more to equip the rest of the house.

Not sure about the quality, bulb burnt out with very little use.
Purchased a four pack of LED lights back in 2022 with a 25,000 hour life. They would be luck to have 250 hours of time and one of the four has burnt out.

CREE LED Lamps
Cree LED light bulbs are top notch i have them from 6 years and runs 7x24 non stop. i also have them in motion sensors and they too are still running their only drawback is its pretty expensive, but if you do not want to replace light bulbs every so often, then go Cree

How can they have a light bulb product description without saying the 3000 or 5000 Kelvin Temp? I went with their term "Bright White" which in their minds is the same as "Warm" or "Soft" light. They actually think warm yellow 3000K light can be described as "Bright White". So we get to wast time, fuel and maybe the product itself. I thought I would match the 21 garage pot lights I previously purchased Cree bulbs for. But you should know, at least 6 have failed over the years with much, much less hours than 22,000. Like 3000 to 5000 hours. If I had to do it over I would not have bought Cree. They used to be in Home Depot for a while, I suspect they got too many returns with irate customers.

We love these bulbs not only because they are very bright, but they also emit a nice quality of light that makes everything in the room look great.

I replaced 8 pot light bulbs in my mother-in-law's kitchen with these CREE Par 30's and it made a HUGE difference. The bulbs are much brighter but also provide a higher quality of light making colours look amazing and not washed out like the previous LED bulbs. Highly recommended.

The light bulb works as expected, but the first bulb only lasted 8 months use of only 3-5hrs and 5 days per week. Does not meet energy star requirements at that rate.

Lights up at full brightness without buzzing, but once you try to dim it buzzes like crazy. Using zlink dimmer. One bulb burnt out not even a month use. Another bulb has a speck of material from the inside that dropped on the surface. I bought two boxes thinking this was a good dimmable set. I should have installed the dimmer early on to make sure its compatible before the return window closed. A lot of money down the drain.
