I literally opened the package and walked outside and installed this replacement transformer. The old one has a broken lead up within the waterproof harness. For the sake of convenience I simply cut and stripped the leafs from the lights and slipped into the provided adapter and then plugged in thenew transformer to an extension cord. Important to note that this replacement unit is NOT rated for waterproof or outside conditions. I am using it in a sheltered area and will take additional steps as well as actually taping the bare wire leads. This is actually just a test installation to verify that it would operate correctly for my application. I've included a picture of the original transformer output specifications, this seems a little bit brighter. Overall functional, value for money and delivered overnight.

Works great for running a couple 12v things in my 3D printer enclosure. My only compliant is that the screws to attach wires are very small and recessed. I have to find my tiniest screwdriver for them. It would be nice if they were more accessible.

Almost...just what I needed. Using this to power 4 Behringer synths, two model D’s, a Wasp, and a Behringer Poly D. The power requirements for the four units is about 3 amps total, so this 4 amp power supply seemed about right. I was excited about the 4-way power splitter and thought I’d give it a try. From a power standpoint there is no issue. I only wish that each of the split pigtails were about 4 or 5cm longer. I had to buy an extension cable to get power over to the Poly D, but I also needed to extend one of the other cables about 2 inches to make this work. I can’t speak to the durability just yet, although they use electrolytic caps which don’t last as long as aluminum poly caps (lower MTBF). Like I said, “almost” perfect.

I needed to add an LED light bar to a truck we are using on a job site. I found a great light bar that would easily plug into a cigarette lighter plug in the truck. WTF? New trucks have tons of USB ports, even an AC receptacle, but NO lighter plug. I did quite a bit of research and found this AC adapter that could be powered by the truck's inverter and provide enough wattage to power the light. But what really sold me was the "pig tail" plug. This allowed me to simply remove the cig plug from the light bar and connect the leads to the pig tail plug. Easy peasy.

Very convenient for plugging in and out.
