110V Automatic Electronic Switch Control Water Pump Pressure Controller

Finally installed seems to work fine. It is confusingly marked both 120 volt and 240 volt. I installed on a 120 volt pump and it works fine. I installed on a municipal water supply to control pump boosting pressure up my hill. It is a exact copy of the control I used to get from HF.

Works fine. Lacks instructions for 120V connection, but that isn't a problem, anyone with a basic knowledge of wiring can hook it up.

Perfect replacement for the original controller I had installed (made in Europe). They sell the same one under a different brand name locally for over $70 in the local hardware store. In a traditional system this replaces the pump pressure switch, pressure tank and low level switch. The system senses when water is needed by monitoring pressure. When a faucet is opened in the house, the pressure drops in the line and the pump will start, the pump will run continuously until the pressure builds up again (once the faucet is closed). If there is no water in the line (the storage tank is empty), the unit will detect that no pressure is being raised and will stop the pump to protect it. It will not damage your pump, I have the same pump running in this configuration for around eight years. In terms of quality and durability of this unit, time will tell. The only con I can think of is that you would spend more in electricity under this setup versus a traditional pressure tank setup since the pump runs all the time water is needed.

First one work for a few weeks then it doesn't shut off the pump. Got a replacement and hope it doesn't fail again. Update: 2nd one failed again after a short period of time.

Very easy to wire up. Used on a 1100 watt pump, works great!

I have been waiting 2 months and nothing has turned up. I went to the post office but no trace.

This would be more useful to me if it had the internal electronics powered by 12/24 Dc than only 110v AC. Well built and reasonable in price. Placed this unit on the shelf as a spare. Just opened it up to use it and the front panel says 110-120v while the inside has 220v indicated. Based on that I would assume that the unit is actually 220v. Make sure you check your unit ASAP when you get it.

I bought this to replace a unit that was occasionally sticking in the "On" position after 5 or so years in service. It has been working fine since I installed it a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully it will last as long as the one it is replacing.

customs really did a number to the box the switch came in, but the switch works and it was in good shape. Thank you.
