Amazing yarn
Lovely yarn, bought this to add to a current project. This is so good to work with, feels soft and not like other acrylic yarns which can feel plastic like. Has a good shine to the yarn as well. Would definitely buy this range of yarn again

Beautiful soft yarn
Lovely colour and very soft yarn can look a little thin in places but it makes beautiful defined stitches

True to colour and really soft.
I brought this make of yarn several times, this is a really beautiful colour, a real cornflower blue, it's super soft and just gorgeous, not as thick as UK DK yarn but I love it, definitely recommend.

Good yarn
I love working with this yarn but was dissoponted when I open it up to find out it was blue and not purpel.

An excellent yarn to work with. Excellent quality and long lasting. Works up great as an afghan or clothing and has a great sheen to it. Also has very good drape for shawls. Just beautiful yarn all the way around!

I ordered one skein of Simply Soft Brites yarn to complete a project. The picture is misleading. It shows a package with more than one skein. Even though I did not expect more than one skein, I did expect the one I ordered to be the average skein weight, 5 or 6 ounces. The skein that arrived was 3 ounces. You have to enlarge the picture in the ad to see 3 ounces on the wrapper. Also, the cost of shipping was twice the cost of the yarn and delivery was very slow. Sandy

Love the yarn! It is a beautiful color on the website but prettier than I could have imagined. If you enjoy making baby blankets this yarn is something that is a must have.

This was purchased to add to a blanket I was crocheting for my friend's grandson. It was used as a border around the whole blanket and did just what I wanted it to, really popped beside the variegated colours of the blanket. The mango colour was one of the colours in the blanket and the emphasis was perfect! The yarn does split fairly easily so one must be careful when hooking with the crochet hook. I found it made me more alert as I was crocheting. It's all good. Received compliments for the 3 blankets done.

Caron Simply Soft (CSS) in Grape colorway is a nice bright yarn that pairs brilliantly with the Iris colorway, which is a very bright darker purple. They provide very good light/dark contrast for each other and work well with White as a complementary neutral. CSS is thinner than worsted but thicker than sport weight yarn. For knitting it is absolutely delightful, but for crochet it takes some finesse. The yarn has no elasticity at all, so I find that I have to use multiple hook sizes depending on the stitch I am making - sometimes two hooks in a single stitch - to maintain consistent tension appearance and avoid large holes at the tops of stitches. The direction of the twist is ideal for knitting, so the 4 strands frequently untwist as I am crocheting and I have to take care not to split them or accidentally catch my hook on just 1. It can get properly tangled, but it's easy to untangle because it has a very "slippy" kind of texture; a quality which requires that every stitch be worked through at least two loops to avoid the final fabric developing huge holes and tight knots at the top of your stitches, so I have adjusted my procedure for when a pattern calls for FLO or BLO. Your finished fabric will feel nice almost no matter what you do with it, but you will need to adjust your hook size if you are making stitches with largely varying sizes becausd you cannot adjust enough just by holding the yarn tighter (trust me on this one, save your hands the pain.) Overall I still really like CSS, and have none of these problems at all when knitting with it, but I just don't recommend it for absolute beginner crocheters. It can definitely be problematic to work with if you are not prepared to face the challenges it presents. 10/10 drape quality for this stuff though. Imitates silk blend yarns I have used pretty well.
