Delicious and Tart!
These are a treat in my house! So delicious and tart! I had some sent to a friend and she loved them too! First saw about this company on Food Network years ago. Not your everyday pickle, good for a special treat every once in a while. Made me pucker!

Very disturbing taste! THIS IS NOT A PICKLE.
I found the best pickles ever they are by Jimmy Johns, however because the Jimmy Johns founder Jimmy Liautaud is a Rhino and Elephant murderer I felt the need to #boycottJimmyJohns and never support his business again.I have been on the hunt for a pickle as good, and have yet to find it, BUT this brand McClures has got to be one of the most disturbing of all so far, it taste like cucumbers "no not pickled" just soft cucumbers in vinegar and the wretched taste it left in my mouth even thinking about it right now makes me want to puke.Save your money this stuff is gross.

A Trip Back In Time
Are you fed up(pun intended) with pickles that say they are kosher dill without tasting like it? These pickles satify that want. McClure's Garlic Dill Pickles taste the way you remember the taste of real pickle barral pickles. With Jewish delis disappearing in favor of general grocery store delis having one of these pickles is a trip back in time. Only when you close your eyes and bite into these indulgent but healthy treats you may want to have a napkin or a dish to catch the drips as these are juicier than most. Also when you're finished with the jar you might want to experimment with putting regular store bought pickles in the garlic and fennel brine to see if they soak up the flavoring

Very good pickles, would be five star for those that like a vinegar flavored dill.
These are good pickles. Despite being shipped in the middle of the summer and thus enduring summer heat until I could get them into my fridge, they are crisp. Ingredient list is nice and short, and nothing artificial. Quite tasty too.So why do I only give them four stars, and state for many this is a five star product?Personal preference. I know the label didn't say "kosher dill" but I was hoping for basically something similar to let's say (to use a national brand to keep things simple and due to my limited experience) a Claussen kosher dill, but without the additives that Claussen now has. (They don't have a lot, but they do have some, and Claussen even now adds a tiny bit of HFCS for some odd reason). The crispness is very much there, but these have for me a strong vinegar flavor first, then a small amount of garlic and dill. Take out most or all of the vinegar, and up the dill and maybe the garlic, and it would be five star for me. For those that like more of a "vinegary" flavor with a pickle, this is very much a five star product.

Took too long to arrive
The taste was very good, the only thing that prevented me from giving it a higher rating was I ordered it July 26 and didn’t arrive until Aug 6 with 2 day Prime! That’s a crazy amount of time for a jar of pickles. No where in the description did it say I had to wait for them to first grow the cucumbers .

Lack of crunch
These pickles have a great pickle flavor but I found the a little mushy and overly salty

Basic Pickle , Major Dissapointment
I found this company in my local Walmart and brought the only remaining version they had . The sweet/spicy pickle . This pickle was absolutely delicious! But it was a little too hot for my taste. I could only eat one or burn my mouth being greedy to eat more . So i wrote the company on Facebook harassed Walmart to purchase the Garlic dill . Finally i gave and and brought the inflated price here at amazon . And it was a basic pickle a major disappointment . as if they forgot the Garlic and seasoning :(

IF YOU HAVEN’T ALREAD, YOU MUST TRY MC CLURE’S PICKLE PRODUCTS.
I must first inform you that I ordered two jars of McLure’s garlic dill pickles. When my order arrived it was one jar of garlic dill and one jar of sweet and spicy, what I call bread & butter pickles. Don’t know if it was a boo-boo on your part, or if I got the last jar of garlic dill. At any rate I was super happy to learn how good the “bread & butter” were. Some times things happen got the better. That was the case in this instance. I have not tried the garlic dills as of this writing, but I am giving then five stars based on what I have tried. I strongly urge all pickle lovers to try McLure’s pickles. Maybe a bit pricey, but in the long run well worth the price when compared to your store shelf pickles. Yes, I recommend them highly, and will buy them again after my supply has run out. P.S. I only rate items when they are out of the ordinary and worth taking the time to do so. That tells you what I think of McClure’s pickles.
