PDP Gaming Energizer Dual Controller Charging System: Black - PS5/PS4

I game too hardcore and I gotta stay mlg so I bought this amazingly fast charging station. I switch between controllers and it's great because they are fully charged within an hour. Wouldn't it be ridiculous if someone had bought 2 of these charging stations for 4 controllers? Now that's too mlg. But hey the more mlg the better right? Anyways all an all this dual charger station is pretty legit works perfectly. I thought it wouldn't work once I had received it from the mail dude. But it works. It may look a bit flimsy but it's pretty stationary once you put your controllers on them. And don't be afraid to jam the controller in the port...I actually thought I broke the port of the charger but I didn't so it's all good. You should buy it. The price keeps dropping and it might go back up to 30. Peace

Although the new PS4 controllers are cool in all, the tops to the sticks are very poor quality, so there is no worry that this dual charger will outlast the controllers. I heard that Playstation is aware of this and will replace them as if they were recalled. (I need to check that out for myself.) Other than that, my experience with the seller was great and the shipping was quick. I look forward to doing business with them again when the time comes.

While originally a five star product, I cannot say the same for more recently purchased units. Sadly, I found that when I repurchased this for a second PS4, the quality of the second one was lacking, severely. It is serviceable, but extremely annoying to use. While my original (still working like new) would firmly cup the controllers, making alignment simple and secure, the new ones are very sloppy and require delicate positioning to get them to seat. The retainer clips are now oversized, providing a lot of potential for up and down movement, which is transferred on to the micro-USB adapter. Both wobble on my new unit now, while still sturdy on my old one. Even the activity of taking one controller off is often enough to unseat the second controller. And, even when seeing both controllers seated before leaving the room, I will often return the next day to see that one (or both) have unseated themselves to the point where there is no contact made, having stopped the charging process. Having thought it might have just been this one unit, I picked one up from a local big-box, and was met with the same sloppy standards. It appears that as this charging station has increased in popularity, the manufacturing quality has declined. It is a shame, as this had always been a top-of-the-line product up through, and partway into this generation. I wish that I could say it was just a bad apple, but I have similar issues with my XB1 PDP Energizer Station, bought around the same time. Bottom line, is that it is a roll of the dice, at this point. If you get one of the earlier units made for this generation, five stars. If you get one of the lesser-quality ones that seemingly are becoming more common, one star. Hence, adjusting my original review down from a five to a three, averaging the two together. ----- Original review follows ----- I also have the Xbox 360 version of this charging station for my HTPC. Pre-ordered the PS4 version within a few days of it being listed on Amazon, based on my prior experience. About a month in with the PS4 charging station now, and I do love it. The light colors complement all other current-gen colors (PS4/Vita's blue and orange lights) and it blends into the background nicely, sitting with the other components. I have not experienced it being "too bright" as some of the reviews state, and it is only about four feet to the left of my television. I do wish that they went with a flat base instead of the three-point base that it has now. However, despite concerns that it might be unstable when plugging controllers in, I've not had any issues. At first, it also took two hands and a bit of care to seat the controller into the charging station, but once I figured out the angle, it has become a one-handed operation. Charging-wise, it will take a controller from dead to fully charged in about an hour and a half to two hours. While it does not explicitly state one way or the other online or in the (leaflet) documentation, I would imagine that it stops charging the batteries once the controller is fully charged. Considering that the light indicator shows you that it is fully charged, it is likely that they also cut the charging at that point, as well.

Super cool-looking. Love the lights. The acrylic brackets that hold the controllers glow a nice blue once they're charged (orange when a controller is charging... the other controller will stay blue if it's already charged). I keep it plugged in even after the controllers are charged and I haven't had any problems with the unit or my controllers. It's always lit up when I'm not playing and looks great... bright enough to look cool, but not so bright as to be annoying, in my opinion. I've got it sitting right next to my TV. The brackets hold the controllers well, they stay level and almost look like they're floating. It's a really nice addition and it goes well with the sleek design of the PS4. It's been over 3 months since I bought it (reviewing kind of late) and I haven't had any problems with it. I wanted a two-tier floating-style charger and went with Energizer over a bunch of Never-Heard-of-'Em brands because I assumed they would put out a good product, and I ended up being right. The unit itself (without the controllers plugged in) is fairly lightweight, but, I wouldn't call it "flimsy" at all like another reviewer said. When the controllers are plugged into it, the unit has enough weight to keep it upright and where it needs to be, even if you bump it a bit. Basically, If you treat it like a normal human being and you're not stomping on it, you're probably good to go until the next-gen rolls around. So, no regrets here. I agree with one of the other reviewers... looks like something straight out of Star Wars. Love it.

Hallo. Habe diese Ladestation direkt bei Amazon bestellt, also ohne Zwischenhändler. Ich war erst skeptisch bzgl. des Netzteils, weil in einigen Bewertungen von einem UK Netzteil die Rede war. Aus diesen ging nämlich nicht hervor, ob diejenigen direkt bei Amazon bestellt haben oder beim Zwischenhändler. Die Ladestation von Amazon kommt mit EU/Deutschen Netzteil, bzw. Stecker. So nun zur Ladestation selbst: Design der Ladestation ist Top. Die Kontroller lassen sich wunderbar einstecken. Der Ladezustand ändert sich von Blau, für ladend zu Orange, gleich Voll. Kann ich nur empfehlen, da Kontroller auch laden, wenn die PS4 aus ist. Gruss: Simon

5 étoiles, car c'est un produit d'une marque reconnue, un témoin lumineux nous précise quand la manette ps4 est chargée ou non. Et le temps de charge est quasiment réduit de moitié, qu'avec simplement le branchement filaire . Possibilité de charger deux manettes en même temps, sans que ça augmente le temps de charge de la 1 er ou la 2 eme manette. Design sympa passe inaperçus à côté de ma TV

Fantástico. Un cargador más barato que el original de Sony, con un diseño acorde a las lineas de la Ps4, fácil de montar(un click) y usar, que te avisa del estado de carga con dos colores (naranja:cargando, azul:fin de carga).Por cierto, a mi si que me traía el enchufe normal para España, no me hace falta ningún adaptador. Además me llegó en un día, pese a elegir el envío de 2 a 3 días.

Excellent dock charging, colour goes from red when charging to blue when charged. Looks great, I tend to unplug the dock when the controllers are fully charged rather than leave on all the time. It helps to view the male plug that is in the dock to line it up with the socket in the controller as you can't just pop the controller in the dock perfectly every time, but this is no more trouble than inserting the cable. Easy to remove each controller, all working great so far, really chuffed and for a fantastic price.

This works great at easily and quickly charging your PS4 controllers. It uses AC power to charge them so it does it very quickly, and the orange/blue LED lights are great for knowing when they are fully charged. The controllers fit easily in and out of the holders, something I did not find with many others I have tried. It even works with a silicon skin on the controller. We all know PS4 controllers don't last very long at all, this is the one to get to keep them ready to go. rAy
