It's a nice sauce but not the best, a bit sloppy and it's a really small jar and way more expensive than most

Delish with scampi
I love scampi but I only like it with Lashings of tartar sauce and the best taste in one is by Colman's. It has a sharp taste which is probably the Gherkin and capers finely chopped in it. I like to make my own tartar sauce sometimes and I like making it extra chunky but if you don't have time to make your own this is the next best thing sometimes branded items taste better than shop own brand and this is one of those times

Pleasant…
I alternate between this & mayo on my fish and chips. Pleasant without being remarkable.

I live in France and fancied some Tartar sauce to go with my fish. I've tried the TS here in France but haven't been impressed by any of them. Not impressed with this one either. It was rather sweet. On top of that it is only a very small pot and was expensive. I was expecting more from Colmans.

I like it. Seems all the others that I’ve tried are overpowered with dill. This one has a nice balanced, creamy taste.
