The Spirit Animal Oracle

I loved this animal themed oracle deck. The card quality is good and the box is sturdy. The guidebook is well written and the artwork is amazing. Overall very good quality. I bought it for Rs 1619 which is priced a little on the higher end.

These cards really speak if you are into shamanic traditions...especially meditation and healing...these beasties help huge in shadow work...and I am using them with my tarot set...it's a must buy if you belive n love animal spirits...card stock ...printing A1.... quantity..as expected love the artwork....n messages it delivers...and they go hand in hand with my other Oracle decks..

I am in love with this deck. Always accurate and on point. The cards are big so it is a bit hard to shuffle, but the guidance that this deck gives you is always correct.

Must buy as oracle. These one deck is enough for spirit animal messages.. Various animals with beautiful artwork and guidebook to enhance your knowledge

This deck is not very fancy but the guidebook looks good with the cards as the illustration seems very less compare to the guidebook. I felt little overpriced but the quality of the cards are good

Love this deck, the images are beautiful and if you're an animal lover then you'll love this too. The cards are a thick stock and it is a large deck so it can be a little hard for me to shuffle without the cards sticking together. Booklet guide is also good for the authors intentions for the animals.

I have been using various divination methods for more than 40 years - tarot, I Ching, runes, and variously themed "oracle" decks. Each has its own flavor/tone, and each tends to give insight in different ways. I have three of Collette Baron-Reid Oracle decks now, and this one is based on animals from around the world. It has thoughtful interpretations for each card. I like her approach to creating her decks, and appreciate the guidance they give. The deck comes in a nice, sturdy box for safe keeping, and the box includes a book that gives different "spreads" one can do for different types of readings, an introduction to using the deck, as well as the interpretations for each card. Ms. Baron-Reid's introduction to the deck is both interesting and instructional. She gives background on the deck, suggestions on how to use it, the kinds of questions that will give the best answers, and sets the tone for one's approach to doing readings. (I definitely suggest reading the introduction before doing a reading with it; especially if you've never used an oracle deck before.) The deck is meant to be shuffled in a way that allows for "reversed/upside down" meanings, and although it is a larger sized deck, I don't have any trouble shuffling it. (Of course I have larger hands, so that factors in). I don't find the card stock to be a problem, either, as some reviewers do - any thicker and it would be a problem to work with, in my opinion, as there are a lot of cards in the deck. As for sticking together, I simply went through the deck the first time I opened the box and made sure every card was there before shuffling, as some reviewers apparently received decks with cards that were "missing and/or stuck together". I haven't had any problems with cards sticking together, and all the cards were there. It's not as Native-American themed as some "animal spirit" decks, which is fine, because I have decks that are geared for that anyway. I'm very pleased with it, and the readings were accurate from the start, unlike some tarot decks that take a lot of shuffling before you can be sure you're getting a true read. It has a peaceful, contemplative feel overall, and I use it for personal reflection as well as for giving readings for others. Bottom line: I'm very glad I bought this deck, I use it a lot, and I recommend it.

I reviewed many decks before buying this one; despite knowing this was the set I really wanted. The 68 borderless cards are so beautifully drawn with some really random animals, reptiles, birds and insects, which make this set even more special to use. A simple quality ribbon allows you to not only open the box easily, but lift both the book and deck easily from the close fitting box. Ive always gone out and bought a box for my decks but the fact I dont have to is brilliant. The magnetic closing lid folds over the side of the box making them feel a really luxurious set to use on a daily basis. If you love animals you will really appreciate this deck, I was torn between animal oracle and this one and so glad I got this, although I may get this too as they are different way of reading. I love that the cards have 1 sentence to give a rough phrase which is enough if you wish a quick pick me up. But if you go back to the book you will get a beautifully indepth explanation to help you understand your reading. Plus offers card spreads too. Something that surprised me was the option for upsidown cards, the book offers a option for each card too. Love, love love these cards best Ive ever had and Ive now got 5 different decks, this is my go to deck.
