I recently purchased the Amish Casual 5 Foot Roll Back Porch Swing with Cup Holders, and I have to say, it's an excellent addition to our back patio. The quality of this swing is outstanding. You can immediately tell that it’s handmade with care. The materials are solid, and the construction is top-notch. It’s far superior to any swing I’ve seen at big box stores - I've only ever seen the swings with straight backs with no curve at the ends. The swing feels sturdy and durable, and I expect it will last for many years. The design of the swing is very comfortable. The roll-back style is comfortable on the backs of my knees, and lends to a nice aesthetic. The optional cup holders fit my standard drinking classes, though I'm not sure if it would fit a stemmed wine class comfortably, if only due to the center of gravity being off. The swing is spacious enough for two adults to sit comfortably. When the swing arrived, one of the slats was unfortunately broken. I think one of the screws were driven in a bit too deeply, and it busted through the wood in transit - FedEx did not handle with care in this instance. I was a bit disappointed at first, anticipating a contentious back-and-forth, but the customer service representative from the company was exceptional. I emailed them about the issue, and they responded quickly and shipped out a new slat immediately. The replacement arrived quickly and in perfect condition, and it was easy to swap out the broken one using the screwdriver attachment on my drill. Their prompt and effective communication really impressed me. One suggestion I have for the company is to offer a polyurethane finish as a purchase option. The swing comes unfinished, and while it’s nice to have the option to customize the finish yourself, it would be great if you could choose to have it pre-finished for added convenience. This would be especially useful for those of us who might not have the time or resources to do it ourselves. I have yet to apply a finish on mine, though it is on my list of things to do. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. The swing is beautifully made and very comfortable. The company’s excellent customer service made the experience even better. Despite the minor hiccup with the broken slat, I would highly recommend this swing to anyone looking for a high-quality, handmade porch swing. It’s definitely worth the investment!

Sturdy and well built, heavier than most. Solid and easy to assemble. It was stained nicely however since it will be in the weather year round I will have to put a clear sealer on the swing.

My wife had been jonesing for a "porch" swing for a long time, so this was her Christmas present (2020). We are big people (over 500 lbs between us, so we needed something sturdy and that would stand up over time. In fact, it wasn't destined to be on the porch at all but hung in an A-frame stand in the yard. It sits beneath the oak tree in our front yard which will provide plenty of shade. She felt that this swing would check all the boxes for us and it seems that way. Assembly wasn't difficult though you do need to be mindful at one point about which fastener to use. It includes the optional cup holders which we installed. The drip hole wasn't cut all the way through on one of them, so I finished the job with my drill. The hanging chains are included and were even a little long for our purpose. Had we been hanging it on our porch, it likely would have been just enough. The construction seems solid and like it will last a long time though ours sits out in the yard and will be affected by the weather. We'll see how that works out. Although it is comfortable to sit on, we can tell already that we will benefit from cushions. After about 30 minutes, my behind was getting a little numb. That may just be me. At the end of the day, my wife is very pleased with it. Seems like a good purchase and we are enjoying it.
