I'm a stick tape believer now
Have been playing drums for 40 years and have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about using this. I have had a problem with sticks flying out of my hand in the middle of a groove. This is a bit aggravating to say the least. But this stuff works! And it feels good on the hands too. Gives you a nice grip. I would definitely recommend this to anybody who's on the fence about it.

Great Companion to Coated Buddy Rich Sticks
I love Vic Firth Buddy Rich sticks except that they are a little on the slippery side dependent on your activity or style. This tape is perfect in that you can experience the size, weight, and shape of the BR sticks without ever having them slip from your grip. I am sure there are other products such as tennis racket wrap which can do something similar but this tape does the trick.

Great product
It works great, but not enough to cover the area i was looking for. I was looking for a roll of drum stick tape, so i take the blame for not looking into this deeper. But for the price and need, it works good. Nolonger throwing sticks, until i break them. then i will have to get another wrap

Nice feel in the hand, but difficult to apply and required adhesive tape to secure.
The material feels like suede; great to touch. But I could not achieve the type of wrapping I can do with other tapes (such as on my steering wheel). And I needed to use adhesive tape (black electrician's tape) to secure each end. Good luck getting a smooth wrap job.

Watch instructional video before taping
Playing drums for over 60 years and never considered wearing gloves but I gave taping a second look. I love the feel of the Vic Firth Tape. My sticks actually feel lighter, no slipping and they don’t effect the sound when hitting the batter head of the drum. I changed the way I cross stick though. I googled the correct way to apply the tape which helped a lot. I love both Vic Firth sticks and tape.

Love it
The "grippiness" is perfect. They give a little cushion. I've been able to re-use them.

Fantastic tape and very good value for money. I have drummed for a few years now and find that the sticks rub with my method of playing and I end up with tortured fingers but this tape is grippy and absorbs the sweat from you hands 5*!!!!! and very highly recommended!

Great grip without being too sticky. Helps me keep control during longer sets. A staple in my stick bag now.

These grips do what they're meant for. But once you've started developing bruises it's time to let them go. You've achieved a perfect grip technique👌🏻
