Eye Supplement 90 One-a-Day Capsules

I’m an elderly female who has had cataract surgery on both eyes. This product was recommended by my ophthalmologist. In my latest exam it was noted that my eyes have not gotten worse in the past year and I was encouraged to continue with the MacuShield.

I believe in preventative medicine. This vitamin contains several vitamins and minerals that my Ophthalmologist highly recommended for me for keeping my eyes healthy. I have always taken Lutein for my eyes, but this is even better than plain lutein. My eyesight is very important to me and I plan on keeping it healthy. Great product. Small gell capsule.

I would give this product 5 stars if it had a better mail package. I recieved it in a bubble mailer which cannot provide good protection for a box of softgel capsules. Otherwise the price and quality is very good.

It is unclear if it works and if it has what it states, but in old age it is good to try and protect the eyes. It is easy to swallow.

I have dry MD and take Areds. My eye doctor highly recommended this and said it has a trio of beneficial items, not just lutein. So hopefully at next check up it'll be great results!

Three years ago, my eye exam showed the presence of drusen particles which are not uncommon in older people, but these could be preliminary to AMD, macular degeneration. My health report from genetic testing through 23 and Me confirmed that I have three copies of genes relating to macular degeneration. My ophthalmologist recommended MacuHealth, a form of eye vitamins with the same formulation as Macushield which was the original producer of that vitamin. i have been using this product for years. Failing eyesight seems to be a problem in my family, but I was not able to ascertain historically the cause. my husband's eyesight was damaged by chemo, and as a architect this was a concern. So searching the internet, i discovered Macushield, and we started taking it. Neither of us has developed cataracts and at 80yrs old my eyesight is still pretty good altho I obviously need glasses for reading. I hope to continue taking Macushield for the rest of my life.
