Victron SmartSolar Charge Controller (150V 60A Tr)

Increased solar output on RV so upgraded to larger amperage controllers. Had great luck with previous Victrons, these perform just as nice. The Bluetooth capability is a big plus. They network together and with the Victron shunt. Can monitor whole system with the Victron app.

Great Mppt tracking and Amp conversion Super charging the batteries. App works with Tables and Iphones but, Does Not work with Bluetooth for PC Custom set up on App allowed for User setting Install on max Battery voltage as we use Lithium. Super conversion efficiency through it's MPPT Tracking algorithm. Only 1 device will have access at a time to monitor as it can only communicate with 1 device.

Two years and still working great.

The 150V MPPT charge controllers are significantly larger than the 100V units. The smaller 100V units only support 12 and 24 Volts, where this 150V units also supports 36 and 48 Volts in addition to 12V and 24V. You may need a software update for 36V. Everything else is great, just like any other Victron product I use. Bluetooth is reliable with good range. Screw terminals are very solid and large. I run 4AWG copper wire on the battery side.

Great product, good quality materials. Powerful algorithm to get your batteries to full charge it really takes care of your Batteries life span. it get very warm thou, so if you are putting it into a cabinet, you need a cooling system and lots of ventilation.

I used for Brinkly RV. Easy to hook up. You must hook up battery before the panels. I stumbled over that, not easy to find. Remember to check for setting for battery type. I used the Bluetooth interface on my phone to do that. I do like that interface and the data provided by it also. This was perfect for my new 410 w Q Cell panels and 400aH LiFePo4's.

Solar charge controller arrived quickly. It works as described.
