They are stiff, like really stiff. They are true to size, glad I didn't go a size down. Over all they are comfortable. I really like the ankle cushion.

Super comfortable right out of the box with little to no break-in needed. The build quality is solid, and the wheels have excellent grip. My only real complaint is the bearings—they’re not great. Still, for the price, it’s hard to beat. Overall, I’d still give it 5 stars.
