Works like a champ!
Rock solid when properly mounted on the spare tire. Not made to be left on the vehicle 24/7, should be removed after use to protect the strap from the elements. If you have a rear spare and no place to carry extra fuel outside your rig, this is a great option, very happy with the purchase!

Great product
Pros ~ Affordable, simple to setup & install as well as remove, very well made and quality product. Cons ~ I just so happened to get a strap where the tensioned buckle wasn't holding well and popped open twice on a weekend trip I took to the desert. I wouldnt hold this against the co, I think things happen and I just got a bad hand. They accepted my return, no issues. I got this specifically to mount my gas/water RotoPax system and overall very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone, however check the buckle strap clamp before bringing out into the field!

Need? No. Want? Yeah!
Honestly, stupid simple but so handy. I love being able to keep gear on my rig without taking up cab space. This is a nice and clean way of keeping some essential gear accessible for wheeling trips. After putting this on and kitting it out with a set of recovery boards and a gas can, my Jeep looks naked without it. I know it’s not for looks, but it sure does make the rear end look a little more serious.

Almost perfect
The holes are a little to narrow for a Rotopax mount for fuel can. Easy fix with a drill, but would expect it to work right out of the box with brand name parts.

Excellent gas can.
Solid gas can and mounting system. The spout looks to be leak proof but I haven’t tried that yet. One thing to know is that the mounting system bolt holes do not match the brand name mounts (RP) and will require drilling.

Nice quality but does not work with Rotopax Fuelpax mounts without drilling
Overall quality is good, solid plates, good finish, installation instructions are good--and for that I would give it a 4 or 5 BUT before you choose your pack mount, read this first: If you bought the RotoPax "FuelPax Deluxe Pack Mount" you'll find the Fuelpax has a1-piece base with mounting holes that DO NOT line up with the Rockslide mounting plate holes. Yes, you can drill it out, but for the money spent, (as of 2/4/24) the incompatibility isn't mentioned anywhere in their materials for either product even though are sold together on the Rotopax web site. It's disappointing to have to DIY what appears to be an integrated solution with zero mention of this.

Mounted my Rotopax gas can and my propane tank with the EZ Rack on the spare tire of my Jeep. It’s solid. Now to go on an adventure!
