I have a very old laptop with Windows 10, it is working ok but i just need something a little more. So on a recommendation, i got this wifi adaptor to help. I already have WIFI built in to my laptop which is a lower speed so I added the EXE for the application USB WIFI into the Window 10 StartUp. It now gives me a little extra and it works every time the PC starts up. If you’re not sure how this is done use the web and find it on YouTube as the instructions can be a little confusing but at the same time its super simple, and i really needed simple! I can now keep using my old faithful laptop for a while longer and dont need to get a wifi repeater as first though. A great find, would recommend :-)

REVIEW UPDATE. The seller contacted me very swiftly on the back of my original review and arranged replacement with ZERO hassle for me. The replacement arrived within 24 hours and is working perfectly after 7 days. The signal pickup from my router is strong and speed is very good. Well done, Acelink :) ORIGINAL REVIEW...This worked for the first 3 days. Then I had to unplug and plug back in with every use for a couple of days. Now it's stopped working all together.

I purchased for my wifes Lenovo P330 Tiny as they do not come with WiFi Installed by default. I was initially dubious, and wondered if this would end up being a pile of junk. I was pleasantly surprised! If required the drivers are supplied on DVD (Which no on has these days) r you can download from a link in the product description. If you are running Windows 10 you won't need the drivers anyway, as the device worked straight out of the box. If anyone is wondering what chipset this devices is running, it's a Realtek Chip, similar to many laptops. I experience good connectivity, and excellent speeds on USB 3.0. Very pleased.

On the whole it is a good receiver, though it can be a little ‘buggy’ and requires the occasional re-start. It is can be annoying at times but is easy to sort out, perhaps it’s my system. Have been getting speeds of 860mb and once running is pretty stable. For the price it is worth a punt.

the product does its job and i am happy with it, it has dropped link a few times but it soon recovers ok. I wouldn't say it was a good product for gaming or streaming, but if you wish to use the device for gaming, i would suggest having your pc device near the router with no walls or obstacles in the path of it. i only use it for internet access, so it is a good product for me for just a basic internet connection.

This has been an excellent product. We do not have the best WiFi signal in our house but this has made going online easy. So quick and easy to set up even my 8 year old could manage it. Set up on Windows 10 but instructions for Mac included so universal. Would recommend as value for money.

The adapter was easy to install and set up and worked well in the beginning. However after 1-2 weeks the adapter kept cutting out and disconnecting from the USB port and therefore disconnecting from the internet. It has to be plugged and unplugged 4-5 times to finally connect to the port. Keyboard and mouse connect fine in the USB port so this isn’t the problem. Poor product.

So far, so good. The adapter works perfectly, i'm on virgin media fiber optic 350mbps, and my hub 3 is downstairs, my PC is upstairs and i get 220mbps through wireless 5g. I must admit i did swap the original antenna for antenna that are about 3 inches longer and that did improve the connection from 95% to 100% and improved the speed from about 190mbps to 220mbps. So this is not the actual adapters fault, but is to do with the antenna supplied. My advice is, buy the adapter then buy 2 larger antenna, this will boost connection strength and overall speed.

Ich hatte vorher einen etwas älteren Wlan-Stick von Fritz! und konnte nicht auf den 5ghz Kanal zu greifen. Habe spontan diesen Usb Wifi Adapter gekauft und muss sagen, dass ich positiv überrascht bin. Die Installation war sehr simpel. Software war über eine mitgelieferte CD zu installieren und dann geht der Spass auch schon los. Konnte ganz schnell auf mein 5ghz Wlan zugreifen und merke sowohl beim Surfen als auch beim Streamen deutliche Geschwindigkeitssteigerungen. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung!

Ich suche immer sehr sehr lange bis ich etwas gefunden habe, was wahrscheinlichen meine Erwartungen erfüllt. In diesem Fall war alles bestens. Der Stick kam innerhalb von 2 Tagen. Wurde von Windows 10 automatisch erkannt. AC läuft immer mit 585 MBit/s. Verbindungsabbrüche habe ich gar keine. Hatte zwar Bedenken, dass der Stick nicht mit einer Karte mithalten kann, dem war aber nicht so. Falls jemand eine praktische Möglichkeit der Befestigung sucht, so kann ich einfach selbstklebenden Klett empfehlen. Damit lässt sich der Stick überall anbringen. Meine Empfehlung hat das Produkt.

ein kleines Gerät, aber enorm hilfreich: dieser Stick für den USB-Anschluss peppt meinen PC gehörig auf, und sorgt für spürbar mehr Tempo. Die Installation per CD ist leicht durchzuführen, Bedienungsanleitung leicht verständlich. Dank zwei Antennen vom Gerät kann ich auch im Keller schnell surfen. Gute Preis-Leistungsverhältniss. Ist zu empfehlen.

Leider schafft der Stick nicht ansatzweise die angegebene Leistung. Mehr als 3 MB/s (30Mbit) sind nicht drin, obwohl im 5Ghz WLAN mit vollem Empfang und im USB 3.0 Port. Vorsichtshalber habe ich mal verglichen: - älterer USB 3.0 Stick im gleichen Port: 70MB/s - Laptop im gleichen 5Ghz WLAN direkt neben dem Desktop: 100+ Mbit Der Stick kann somit nicht mal meine "kleine" 50 Mbit Internetleitung auslasten. Wer regelmäßig halbwegs vernünftige Übertragungsraten braucht, sollte die Finger weg lassen. Qualität, Installation und Empfang (Signalstärke) scheinen sonst OK zu sein.
