Don't forget the hammer.
If you have difficulty opening sewn buttonholes then this little tool is great for getting the job done. Using a self healing mat, place the cutter on the hole you want to open up then hit it with a hammer. Job done. I would thoroughly recommend this item.

Bought this after watching videos on making button holes. I used to use scissors to cut them open. Never again! Very near!
