I bought this to hold up an electric extension in my kitchen but it did not hold.

This stuff is brilliant and very good quality and sticks like a limpit ! I used it at a party to stick heavy cardboard sheets to windows with photos on. It's a kind of hook and eye like velcro on the inside . It did not want to come off . If you want heavy duty tape this is it !

These little velcro pads are very useful. As a computer user, I often have little gizmos and pieces of kit which need to be placed on a flat surface then connected to my PC. Putting a piece of this on the back of the piece of equipment, and another on a flat surface, enables you to place the kit somewhere nearby, but where it wont fall off. I used it to attach an external SSD drive which, beffore just sat loose on my desk. The danger of it falling or being knocked has now been removed as it is as stable as a rock. Should I need to remove it, the pads can be unstuck, then peeled off without leaving marks. Very useful.

Having a problem with the suction fitting on the camera I want to cover anything that might decide to smash into the rear of my new car. I found that the suction cup that is supposed to attach the mounting to my rear screen soon lost hold. On seeing this special adhesive strip being advertised, and with the write-up giving it a high score, I ordered a packet. On it arriving I went out to fit the camera to my tailgate window, and found it certainly was very sticky, especially to my hand and fingers. Getting the camera adjusted and connecting the power cord all seemed well. The next morning, on going out to the car I noticed that the camera was hanging down by the power cable, so opened the tailgate and whilst the adhesive tape was still very sticky I reapplied the camera to the rear screen, closed the tailgate and went to do some last minute shopping before starting the long drive from above Inverness down to the Isle of Wight. During the drive I stopped at a Travelodge, as it was a drive of well over 600 miles. On going out to the car again saw that the camera was dangling by its cord, so added another couple of the patches to those already still fastened to the camera, and pressed the growing mass of adhesive tape quite firmly in place. On reaching the ferry terminal I saw a now familiar sight, as the extra tape added to extend the width of the mounting had failed. It is thought that the hot weather conditions had caused the adhesive to melt slightly, then slowly peel off from what had been a clearview tailgate glass surface, allowing the lightweight camera to hang by the power cord So much for the hype of how strong the glue was, so now I've to find an adhesive that will hold a few ounces of camera to the rear window, that's after I've managed to remove the heavy deposits of adhesive that wants to stay on the glass. What a waste of money the tape is, and though it might work in colder weather, and in somewhere that isn't aas hot as British weather can reach, but it's no good when the Sun decides to show how hot it can make our climate reach.

Well worth price, and very easy to use, had some really heavy pictures which I had been struggling to secure on my wall with out the use of screws which would damage the paint work and wall, these worked a treat and with a few minutes of receiving them had my pics secured on the wall, fantastic value!

Not strong as advertised…had it on the wall, left for a while, put sky cube on it…hour later OFF…😡😡

I recently got me a new Macbook Pro 13 (intel) with a 1TB SSD. My seller advised me to get an extra external SSD rather than opting for a bigger internal SSD, because it would be cheaper. I would get more bang for the buck so I got a Lacie 2TB SSD. That turned out to be so minisule (Aprox. 6cm x 6cm x 8mm) and it came with a very short USB C to USB C cable. And for a while it dangled next to my Macbook. So whenever I worked in my sofa or chair, I would have that SSD just dangling on the side. So I wanted to turn it in a kind of little Backpack on the rear of my screen. So I ordered the Velcro. On the SSD-Side, I cut down the loops-side by about 5mm from every side to make it neatly fit with the 'construction structure' of the SSD. And the hook-side (the soft side), instead of just sticking it entirely on the Screen lid of my Macbook (and risking to tear or bend my screen if the adhesion was too tight) I cut out my business logo and stuck that instead. Now I have a very handy setup, SSD doesn't come loose while working and moving around with my laptop computer. And when the SSD is not stuck on, I have my own logo on the back :)
