I had a Tv without access to smart apps and I bought this device. It allows me to access different types of apps.

Esasy to plug and play Kdplayer is has to be fix by yourself with addons. Is 17.5 Not easy to find a Build since kryton is 17.6 but,. Use addons and they behave ok HD pixels Fast connection, and very simple for people who likes simple boxes with no heavy Builds.

I liked the look of it, but it feels incredibly cheap. Ours came and it doesn’t even work. The red light on the back turns on, but the units dead. Tried contacting the seller, but have heard nothing back. I STRONGLY recommend using something different. The remote is garbage as well. These boxes appear to be assembled with very cheap materials. I bought a Leelbox two years ago and that ones still running strong, so I’ll probably stick to there products from now on.

This box runs the Android-TV10 OS, and although that is not the most current, it is close enough for me considering the very low purchase price. The box OS settings have many useful options, including a screen-size setting that can reduce excessive TV overscan. If you just want a super economical TV Box that can do most things, then this is a great choice.My primary use of this box is to play recorded videos from my NAS server over my home network, and it works wonderfully for this with the built-in Kodi player app. That app is an older version (18.1), but it does everything I need when used with just an old TV. I could delete the included version and re-load the most current Kodi version, just like I do on my much more expensive main TV Box in the living room, but at this point, I see no need to fiddle with it - it works perfectly right out of the box. If you have never used the Kodi video player, this is a very easy way to get started.I also could load many other available apps from the Google Play Store, including streaming services, but I do not need those on this box, so I have not tested any of them.The instructions that come with the box are a TOTAL JOKE, but thankfully there really isn't much you need to know to set it up. One big omission is any information on using the remote - so you will have to figure that out by trial and error (not too hard). But there is one thing that really deserves t be mentioned: The remote is a LEARNING remote for the normal TV buttons (input, power, volume, mute), but they neither tell you that nor how to set it up. Here is how: Hold the TV Power button until the remote LED stays on, then you can learn each button by just hitting it once and holding it head-to-head with your TV remote. Hit OK after the 4 buttons are all learned to save the settings.

I am so glad I got this. I don't use it often but it's perfect for what I use it for

The box was really easy to install. The picture quality is great. Controls/OS could be a little bit more streamlined. But for $30 it's a great value.

I have 4 tvs in my home and they now all have one of these. I use them mostly to access my home network.

Save your money. This Tv box quit working five months after I first used it.
