They will leak if you put liquid in without a crust (as other reviews have indicated), but they do allow a nice change from round pastries. Work well if you firmly press a crumb crust or pie crust in before adding liquid.......but that is to be expected. The bottom popping out allows for better extraction of pastry and makes cleaning easier.

I had ordered expecting the inserts to be square, not round. They were VERY hard to clean and the product didn't come out of the pan easily. I likely won't use this pan very often because of both of these downfalls.

I purchased the square version of this and the photo on the advertisement shows square inserts. Low and behold (as you will see in the photo they arrived as round inserts. I thought I would try and while they kinda work (the corners tend to fall off.

tray came with rust , couldn’t use it. Very disappointed

I purchased these because the picture showed the inserts as square. Just opened package...the inserts are round not square. Very disappointed. I hope they will work for what I want and not leak.

The little round bottoms are super flimsy and product is much smaller than reviews indicate they are not nearly cupcake size

The pans showed rust after the first washing.
