Just finished installing these on my 2021 Ram 2500 crew cab. They arrived in perfect condition. Took about half an hour to do each side. Instructions were easy to follow. The parts were numbered so it was easy to see what went where. You need to look at the picture to understand which side each board goes on. The ends are angled different. The holes will not line up if you get them backwards. I have installed running boards on other vehicles so I had a basic understanding. They seem well built. As with any running board install do not tighten any bolts till everything is attached. I encountered a slight interference fit just behind the front tire in the mud flap position. (see picture) I used a Dremel too to make a small notch in the plastic. I'm impressed. Great product for the price,; functionable and they look good too. If there was one thing I would like it would be torque specs. I think it's possible to strip the threaded brass inserts if you put them together with an impact wrench.

Everything fit perfectly and it took me about 45 minutes to install both of them. Very sturdy look great!

After looking around online I decided to buy these for my 2022 Ram 2500 crew cab & must say im glad i did...they look good and are pretty sturdy👍🏼 Very easy to install. I did have to apply a bit of pressure on both front mudflaps with the sidestep in order to get the bolts to align with the bracket but was fast & easy. Only bad thing was when it arrived one of the corners was torn & bar was exposed but no real damage, u can kinda see the tiny specs on the pic... overall im very satisfied with the product & price 👍🏼👍🏼

I installed this successfully on my 2020 Ram 2500. Some of these tips may not help if you are installing them on a different truck. I only needed 1/2 and 5/8 deep sockets to complete the job. Assume the instructions are junk because they are and logically think through where all the parts go. I ended up with zero extra and zero missing parts, so I had a high degree of confidence that it was done correctly. The first side took an hour, the second side took less than 15 minutes. First, as I mention in the video, the front bracket for the driver side is the one bracket that is a little bit different and the metal plate that seems out of place goes behind the tab on that bracket. The rest of the driver side brackets are oriented the same way. By process of elimination, the 3 identical brackets oriented the other are obviously for the passenger side. Second, I cannot stress this enough....Use the plastic disks on the retaining backplates when you put them inside the sealed body panels. If you drop one of these backplates inside these body panels, it is going to be a huge PITA to fish out. This was good foresight on the part of the designer. Third, I had to get the brackets secured in place to figure out which step went on which side by lining up the bolt holes. Maybe you have better spatial reasoning than me, but it was not obvious until I did this. Fourth, after getting all the brackets mostly secure, leave them slightly loose to allow some play. Then install the steps leaving them slightly loose with some play. Then tighten the brackets (no torque specs given in instructions) and finally tighten the steps. Fifth, on my truck, the front of the step had some interference with a plastic protection on the corner where the body and fender meet. I just had to muscle it when I tightened everything down. It's just plastic, but don't be surprised if you encounter this. A couple improvement ideas for the designer: -Cut the front of the steps top corner back an inch at a 45 degree angle to avoid the body panel protector interference. -Make a youtube video showing how to install these since the instructions are so bad. -Mark the steps as driver or passenger side to avoid having to move them around. -Add torque specs for those of us that like to follow good engineering practices. -Update 4 Dec 2021, cut a small notch in the front passenger side bracket to accommodate the body mount point structure prior to powder coating. Mine flex a little, but it's the because of the steps. It's because Ram has you mounting these to sheet metal that is not reinforced. I would buy these again for the price. The fit and finish seem great. I will update this review if I run into any corrosion or other issues. Update 4 Dec 2021: See the pictures I added. After installing the steps, my truck developed a terrible squeak over bumps and when turning. I didn't associate it with the steps because some other work had been done by a shop recently, so I assumed it was their fault. I looked all over several places and finally isolated it at the front mounting bracket for the steps on the passenger side. The problem is that it was a super tight fit next to a body mount point. I had to tap it a little with a mallet to get it in originally. So I loosened the steps, and removed that bracket. I could see clearly where it was rubbing metal on metal with the body mount because the powder coat had been rubbed through. I used a Dremel to remove a small section where that rub mark was and then covered the bare metal in POR-15. I reinstalled and now the squeak is gone. I'm sticking with my original 3 stars. I think these are a good value for the DIY garage mechanic, but the squeak could have led to an embarrassing exchange and a bill for troubleshooting if I had taken it straight to the shop and blamed them. A few minor (near zero cost) engineering changes on the part of the designer would make these 5+ star at this price point.

Installed on my 2019 ram 1500 classic. MAKE SURE you use the plastic pieces on the Tbolts before you put them in the rail or you will spend forever getting them out (a very strong magnet worked great for me) also uses the bolts built into the rail on newer trucks (both bolts refused to go in and ended up breaking off when I tried with the ugga dugga. This makes the front slightly springy but still holds my weight (250lbs). Overall happy with the build quality and look, just wish it included better hardware.

Thin brackets with too much flex, they bend a lot when you step on them, too dangerous up north when they get ice on them. Waste of my time and money, easy to install, only did one side, tested and pulled off. Will just build my own.

Easy to install. But the instructions are backwards. The left sude fits the right side and vuse versa

What can i say the running boards look amazing on my truck. They were a bit tough to install but once i figured it out it went fast. But over all it looks amazing helps out a lot the wife loved them. For the price it’s well recommended.
