6x6 Apex Pyramid Post Cap - Matte Bronze (5 1/2" x 5 1/2") for Deck and Fence Posts

These look great, they’re a little thinner and flimsier than expected but it actually helped mold to some of the posts. Two of the the ten we bought were a bit too tight and had to be stretched out but they turned out fine.

I recently purchased 12 caps for our dock posts and am VERY pleased with the quality, the fit, the matte bronze finish, and how they enhance the look of our dock!!!! I opted to use a little construction glue to help secure them, although it may not have been necessary. The entire "project" took me about 15 minutes.

I capped existing 6x6 deck posts after applying new stain. The caps fit well and added a professional look to a renovation. I ordered one cap to confirm the look and fit. I ordered 8 more but unfortunately one cap was damaged. It was bent and the paint peeled off. Hopefully not an omen of future durability issues. So far a great solution for a renovation.

Quality perfect fit

This was perfect for our 6x6 tori gate columns. Well made and the lightly textured finish made for a clean look.

Product is easy to use. Fits nicely on a standard 6" post. Which generally measures 5 5/8" squared. Looks nice and should last for a decade or so. Well worth the price for the look and protection they provide.

This product far exceeds the offerings of the big home supply stores (Home Depot, Lowe's, Ace and Tractor Supply). The caps are also 2/3cheaper than any other supplier. The form was consistently the correct size but easily changed if a little too large. As a builder of rustic cabins, I highly recommend this product!

I received 9 deck post caps from this seller today. I'm not happy at all. They are thin and the finish is very .... unattractive. Also, there are no screw holes on the sides of the cap to attach it to the post! A good swift breeze will knock them right off. I certainly wasn't into gluing them in place. But, the worst thing is, I have to pay $6.00 to return this small box of lightweight metal. I've never encountered this with an Amazon vendor before. Deck Depot will not get any more of my business.
