Good little tool to have.

Great product to drill straight aligned holes. Only thing, the plastic container bottom was shattered and dies not keep the tool in.

Is should have purchased one of these a long time ago. I am fabricating an aluminum fuel tank with clean out access. Many holes to drill and tap. This tool makes tapping much much easier. Most of the time I use a drill press to start my taps but this time that was not possible. Anyone who does any fabricating should have one of these tools. Well worth the price.

Personally I have a lot of difficulty drilling straight holes. This guide certainly solved that problem. The holes are bored out to perfect size and marked well. The guide is exactly 1 in thick which makes for easy depth calculations. I also really like this guide because it is one of the few I found that had 1/4, 1/2 and 5/8 all on a single guide. The one downside I have found is the guide is tapered. The guide is much thinner on the small hole end than it is on the large hole end. This means if you line up the top edge of the guide the top edge of every hole with be exactly the same distance from the edge of the guide. For me it would be much more helpful if the center of the holes were the exact same distance from the edge of the guide. This is a small problem that makes a real big difference for me when trying to measure and place this guide. I would love this guide if I could clamp it down and know my hole would always, for examples sake, 1/8 of in from the top of the guide. Small issue but it makes a big difference in ease and speed of use for me. Bottom line: This is a very good guide. The design of this guide would not bother me so much it is was not an otherwise perfect tool.

Works good on pipes and other non-flat surfaces

Drill guide is well made and has useful sizes. You can drill a straight hole through wood from one side of a bracket to hit a matching hole on the other side of the bracket. The drill guide is a great improvement compared to drilling the hole by "eyeball".

Really good product, well made. Not used yet.

Had a small one so had to get this one as well such a hand tool to make straight holes quickly in one off fab situations.
