Nice, bright under-cabinet light that works well with a smart plug
These under-cabinet lights really helped light up the counters all the way around my kitchen. My kitchen was previously lit just by a fluorescent fixture on the ceiling and was relatively dark, especially on the counters. I installed 4 of these 3-packs and the whole room feels much brighter now. The counters are now very well-lit. I would really probably rate these more like 4.5 stars, but that's not an option and I don't think the minor issues I had with them were worth knocking a whole star off. The customizability of these lights worked very well for my use case. My kitchen has cabinets in 4 different disjoint sections (one on an island, one on one side of the sink, one between sink and stove, then one on the other side of the stove.) Installing a hard-wired solution would have been a huge pain (and also quite expensive,) requiring running new power lines through the walls in several places. Being able to just plug these into the AC outlets along the wall under the cabinets saved tons of effort and likely at least hundreds in installation costs. Plus, if/when I or a new home owner wants to replace these, it's far easier to do this way than with a hard-wired solution. Being able to install these without the switch in-line and instead plug them into smart plugs worked out great. I had already installed a Kasa smart switch on the main light in my kitchen anyway, so I just got 4 Kasa smart plugs and set them to turn on and off with the main light, then plugged these four sets into them. This way, there's no need to run wires through the walls or behind the stove or anything like that. Each set is just plugged individually into an outlet with a smart plug and the whole room lights up when I turn on the main light. The customizability of this set is hard to beat. Each strip can be connected either with a short barrel adapter or with a cable. The cable worked great for turning corners or when the strips just needed to be a little farther apart and the barrels generally worked well for when the strips needed to be placed end-to-end. The only problem I had with this was one of the barrels apparently just wasn't making a good connection and was causing the strip downstream of it to occasionally flicker or run dim. Since I had unused barrel connectors, though, I just swapped that one out with another one and it's been working great since then. Being able to simply leave the switch out of the circuit is a great for my use case, since I want the lights to come on at full brightness whenever the smart switch turns on anyway. Installation was relatively straightforward. Just make sure to peel the plastic cover off of the metal strips, attached the adhesive strips to them, then place the adhesive strips underneath the counter where you want the supports to attach. Once the metal plates are installed in position underneath the cabinet, then you just snap the supports onto the light strips and then they hold magnetically to the metal plates. I've had these up for several months now and no issues at all with the lights detaching from the metal plates or the adhesive that holds the plates to the cabinets letting go. Do make sure to remove the plastic backings, though, as they won't hold up with those on. I have had a few relatively minor issues with these as mentioned at the beginning, though: - One of the barrel connectors was apparently defective. No problems after replacing it with a spare one, though. - The adhesive on the clips designed to hold the wires up against the under side of the cabinet is rather poor. These all fell off very quickly. I replaced them all with Command strip hooks and that solved that problem. This only applies to the clips designed to hold the wires up, though. The adhesive that holds up the lights themselves works great. - There's about a 1-second delay between when the lights get power and when they actually light up. This is really just a slight annoyance, but it does create a noticeable delay between when the smart plugs turn on and when the lights actually light up. I know the delay is in the lights and not the smart plugs, as I can hear when the relays in the smart plugs switch. This is not a huge deal, but it's a minor annoyance that's worth noting. Of course, the lights do turn off immediately when power is turned off. - The AC/DC transformers on these are quite large. The transformer is built into the plug, so the only way to mount the transformers up underneath the cabinet out of sight is to use extension cords. This is especially true when you also have a smart plug between the transformer and the wall outlet. It was really a lot of bulk sticking out of the wall and looked kind of unsightly until I got some short 90-degree plug extension cords that allowed me to mount the transformers and smart plugs up underneath the cabinets where they are out-of-sight. - The light strips do get pretty warm. Of course, I'd expect that with incandescent bulbs, but it seems surprisingly warm for LEDs. This hasn't been a problem at all for me, but you'd want to make sure that these are placed where kids or pets wouldn't touch them and get burned. Overall, despite a few minor annoyances, these paired with the smart plugs have worked great for my use case for getting under-cabinet lighting that's easy to control without expensive tearing up of walls and installation of new AC power lines by an electrician. My kitchen is much brighter than it was before, which makes the kitchen feel nicer overall, but also makes food preparation easier by lighting up the counters well.

Sleek and Bright
Easy Install, great color (4500k), and well-built. Kit comes with 1" connectors and also wire connectors, so you have the option to put them next to each other or have them spaced out. The wire is thick and seems durable. The aluminum case gives a quality and durable look. They fit great under my shelving to provide extra light on my workspace. The only way to make these better is if they had a timer.

Excellent lights
These lights are excellent, dimmable and very bright when needed. The box contains everything needed for different mounting situations. You can use the double sided tape or the metal clips with screws, all included. The back of the lights can be used with magnets. Also, extra connectors and cables along with glue backed tie downs for a clean install. I haven't seen this attention to detail in many years.

Easy to install, motion sensing is great! Comes on during day :(
Easy to install. Easy to use. Looks great! Nice and bright but you can adjust them so they are a nice ambient light. I took off one star because they come on in daylight or when other lights are on. The instructions say "doesn't work in light or daytime environments" but they come on anyway, especially if a shadow falls on the sensor. They are under cabinet lights, where are you supposed to put the sensor that isn't in the shadow under the cabinet? Also, could use some more cable clamps, 3 isn't enough. Final trivial gripe is the sensor has 1 hole at one end to install it. The pictures on Amazon show the cords neatly stored behind the sensor but have no idea how that one little attachment spot with the tiny screws would hold it in place.

Good lights for easy install and cost
Easy to install. I haven't had them long enough to test how long/well they hold. Good initial impressions with lighting and ease of install and use. I do wish they came with more tacky tape to hold up the excess wire between light strips.

Perfect for Prusa 3D printer enclosure
Was looking for a lighting solution for my 3d printer enclosure (Prusa MK4S) and noticed someone else in the reviews using them for that exact purpose. That was all the endorsement I needed. They work perfect. They're magnetic so you can just snap them right to the inside of the enclosure if you want or it also comes with little clips you can mount to the dozens of little holes in the enclosure. I mounted one in the corner before I realized they were magnetic and then just stuck the other two on so I can confirm both methods work fine. Plugged it into a smart plug from ghome and added it right to my existing google home devices in seconds. The lights do successfully come on when the smart plug is activated which is super nice! You could theoretically hook them up to another switch or sensor of some kind. I'm currently trying to find a way to trigger the switch on when a print starts. Perfect for my uses. Puts out tons of light for such a small area. Would recommend.

Work great for under my kitchen cabinets.
I bought these to replace my old under counter LED lights that I bought back in 2011 (mouse chewed on the cord coming out of the power block, and shorted the whole thing out). Anyway, after a lot of searching and reading LOTS of reviews, I decided on these. The price was right and they had lots of great reviews (and some not so great), anyway, after weighing all the pros and cons I decided to give these a try. The lights were very easy to install using the adhesive strips that came with them (just make sure you clean the area you’re going to put them with rubbing alcohol and let dry, not a surface cleaner). Just follow the instructions and they adhere really well. After letting them sit for 24 hours, I pulled on them to see if I could get them to come off… nope, they’re stuck good. Over my stove, I used the magnet clips that come with them to put one under my range hood at the back and it sticks really well too. The other two are under the cabinets on either side of the stove. I like the color the lights give off and how bright and dim they can get. They work great with an Alexa or Google Assistant enabled smart plug. You can turn them on and off via voice command, or you can set up a routine to have them turn on and off at specific times, which is what I did (they turn on half hour before sunset and off half hour after sunrise). I use them as a night light so I can get around in the kitchen without having to turn on the very bright overhead light. They remember the last brightness setting you had them at, so they turn on at that brightness every time. After reading the reviews of people saying the adhesive for the wire clips wouldn’t hold, I ordered these at the same time… https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B5QRW1FP?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1. There’s a lot more than I needed for putting these lights up, but figured I can use them for putting up Christmas lights too. They are small, but are perfect for putting the cords for these lights where you want them. The adhesive strips for these are very strong (just like with the light strips, clean the surface with rubbing alcohol and let dry), but can be removed like “Command Hooks” if you need to take them down. Again follow the instructions. So far, I’m very happy with these lights, and hoping they will last at least as long as my old ones.

Incredible Lights and Customer Service!
I have a display box. Well, it is the top shelf on my bookshelf that I converted to a display box. I had been looking for lighting to it in the evening and night. I even tried a couple of lights from spotlights and faire lights. Neither worked. Then while I was browsing, I found these, and I am so glad I tried them. They were perfect to light my items in the display box. They were very versatile with everything being so interchangeable. There are so many ways you can use these light bars. The joint connectors and power extension wire connectors to have the bars connected over large spaces and although they have different light bar connection hardware to secure them in various spaces, mine were only laid flat on the front of the shelf/display box. And while I only needed two of the three light bars provided, I was able to connect them using only one of the power connectors that separated the two by only a half an inch making it like one light bar and that lighted the display box perfectly for my needs. They provide a dimmer switch that is in one of the power cord extension wires that extends from the light bars to the power wire. I tried it but I liked it on full power, so I leave it on high. I also have a timer on the outlet that I use to light the box from 5 to 10 PM. Loving it. Love it! Unfortunately, four months later they started to blink. On. Off. On. Off. And so on. And not just one but both. I unconnected them and tried them individually and the third light bar that was still in the box and they all still blinked. I unplugged the power cord from the timer and tried them all again and they still blinked. I remembered a slip of paper inside the packaged box that said if anything was broken upon delivery to contact them at their email address. So, I did just that. And they replied that very day! In fact, ASOKO Support Team replied in just two hours from the morning I sent the email! I did not expect that and in fact I did not check my email until the next day. They asked for the Order Number so they could help further. I looked it up and emailed it to them. And again, they replied that day. That email gave me 4 troubleshooting fixes and I thought I had tried everything, but I did not. In fact, the very first one they suggested was to remove the power cord with the dimmer on it. I had totally forgot that was an option. And sure enough it worked. I tried it with all the light bars and I also put the dimmer switch power cord back in and it worked as well! I replied back to them on how surprised I was and thanked them for the help. Unfortunately, a month and a half later it happened again. And when taking the dimmer switch out did not work, I tried all the other troubleshooting fixes, and they did not work. I waited and tried them for a few days, and nothing worked. I sent another email with the email chain so they had all the relevant information. They were again very sorry that it happened again and without any other troubleshooting fixes they offered to send a replacement for free. I am very glad because as I said before these were the perfect lighting for my needs. The ASOKO Support Team were very kind, professional and quick to respond to my issues. I highly recommend ASOKO for their product and their customer service.
