Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass

The book came in a short amount of time and is well worth the money. I roughly took me an hour to read the whole thing and the poem are just absolutely beautiful written. The poems are just like her music tasteful. Violet bent back over the grass also has a beautiful front cover and I love how I have displayed it onto my shelf. Overall amazing.

Such a beautiful read, even more beautiful when accompanied by the audio book. Lana's poetry is so important to me. So many lines meant so much to me. "LA who am I to love you" is godly and I feel every inch of emotion. I love this book and I could read it over and over again everyday.

I’ve always admired Lana’s writing throughout her albums, her unique ways of talking about sensitive topics and the poetry stays true to that. The poems feel very Lana, very raw and unedited. But, there are times when it is confusing to read as the ‘first-take’ poem will be put into the book with drawings all over it and edits, obviously intentional but it looks really messy to me personally, wasn’t very nice! The poetry itself is beautiful, definitely got inspirations of Sylvia Plath, therefore I knew I’d like it. It’s wonderful and at times just feels as if you are reading Lana’s lyrics. :)

This is a book of Lana Del Ray's poetry and very moody atmospheric and evocative it is too. Interspersed are photos 📸 of America's industrial landscape I guess that is what most of USA actually looks like. I enjoyed this volume and found it very poetic and artistic. Lana is talented in many fields!!!! Recommended read 📚!!

This book is so amazing, it feels like nostalgia and longing bundled into a poetry book. I absolutely adore the cover, it just makes me so happy to look at and is super soft to the touch. The print is not only on the dust cover, but the actual book as well! Lana's writing is incredible, and she really doesn't get enough credit for her music or writing. I would recommend this book to people getting into poetry and also those seasoned with it. The books includes page long poems to small haikus that are all equally as good. inspired me to write some of my own poetry, which is saying something since that's not something i often do. Would recommend!!

Se lo regalé a mi hija que es fan de la cantante y le encanta el inglés y la poesía. Lo guarda como oro en paño. Es mejor de lo que esperaba y merece la pena si te gusta el contenido en inglés y la poesía que toca el alma al modo de Lana del Rey, como sólo ella sabe hacer ❤️
