Marconi Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil - (Pack of 25)

If you need to add a little fat to your backpacking diet, these work great. I add one to my prepared meals and it gives it a little more taste and bulk.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought these for travel because I never know whether rentals will have olive oil available, and I don't want to buy a big bottle and try to bring it home or leave it behind. I put them inside a baggie, and they have never leaked for me. Good quality. I wish they came in a smaller quantity. I end up using some up at home because of the expiration date.

Great for adding to food one the go. I’m presently in a physical rehabilitation facility and the food is bland. I ordered these as well as the same brand balsamic vinegar and it’s made a huge difference in the taste. These would be great for general travel as well as camping or taking with lunch to work or school. Recommended

I bought these to add to dehydrated backpacking meals, as it is inadvisable to dehydrate foods with a high fat content, and trying to package olive oil into conveniently sized packs with a food saver was nearly impossible. I tried. So, I gave up and bought these. Perfect. They’re just the right size to just toss into a foil meal pouch with the rest of the ingredients. The flavor of the olive oil is the same as the stuff I buy in a bottle from Aldi, so I have no real opinion either way on that. It’s olive oil. The packets were not kept together very well for shipping - they were kind of all over in the box with the rest of my stuff. Thankfully none of them had gotten punctured or squeezed, so there wasn’t any mess or product loss. Just seemed weird that they weren’t contained in a sealed bag or something.

What can I say, it's good olive oil. I do a lot of backpacing and these packets sure beat lugging around a heavy bottle.

An excellent product but it was shipped via USPS in an envelope that provided no protection. Luckily only one packet broke open but we still had a mess to clean the remaining packets. Items like this should not be shipped in envelopes.
