This is the best watch I have ever owned. Period. It has a digital clock (with seconds), a chronometer (stopwatch), an alarm (only one) a timer (can go up to 23 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds), and the date and month. I got this watch almost two and a half years ago, and the elastic is still perfectly stretchy, and it still tells time great. I have lost it overnight in a field, lost it in a snowy field (to find it an hour later, undamaged), I have gotten gravel bits in the backlight button (still works perfectly), and the best part is, it’s so comfortable, I can sleep in it! The watch is nice and small, so it can be worn for pretty much anything. I find the bulky watches (or 'big face') very annoying and uncomfortable. I would not recommend the other colors because they do not have elastic bands and are uncomfortable. If the band looks too little kiddish for you (I’m thirteen and I’m fine with it) then you can get a new band, but I would seriously recommend keeping it, because it is very comfortable and easy to adjust. Plus it’s elastic so you can just slip it on instead of having to clip it like a belt, which I find annoying. The watch is not waterproof, so make sure to take it off before you take a bath, shower or go swimming. It is water resistant though, so if you get caught in the rain or something, then it should be fine. I know there are more expensive and ‘nicer’ watches out there, but seriously, you get your money’s worth with this one.

3rd Update 1/16/24, finally heard back from Timex and their offer was laughable. See the below email I received asking me to pay them another $10 for a watch that didn’t last a week. “Thank you for your email. I am so sorry to hear about what happened to the watch. We can replace it with the same or a similar style for up to one year from the original date of purchase, with no questions asked. Please send the watch to the address below with your name and address, a copy of your purchase receipt, or other proof of purchase. Also, include a check for $10 (USD) to cover shipping and processing.” **Updated 1/11/24. Still have not been contacted back by Timex after two requests. I cannot recommend this product. Terrible customer service so far. I bought this as a Christmas present for my 6 year old. We finally got around to setting the date, time and an alarm yesterday. This morning the alarm went off and I pressed a button on the side and then the button to illuminate the watch face. The numbers immediately changed to broken numbers, just some lines of each number visible. The buttons on the side stopped working and within ten minutes a line displayed across the screen. The watch is no longer functioning and I’m past my return window with Amazon since I purchased early in preparation for Christmas. I reached out to Timex as suggested by Amazon and am waiting for a response. I will update my review based on their response. At this time I do not recommend buying as he only wore the watch a couple of times.

Birthday gift for 12 year old granddaughter, whose school no longer permits her Apple smart watch. She was thrilled! Middle school is difficult enough, and this allows her to keep track of the time without having to search for a wall clock! She was pleased with the sporty look, weight, and the band. It is a good quality watch, offering good value at a reasonable price.

I purchased this Timex watch for my 11 year-old to wear to school. He loves it and wears it everyday. It’s easy to put on and use once the set-up is complete. He likes the comfort of the Fabric and Velcro band and that there is a Military Time setting. The time set-up is a little tricky and does take a minute to figure out. But, once you do, it’s not that hard. There are videos online that show the set-up and you can also go to the Timex website for the online user manual.

My youngest just started Middle School. He is a little one. The watch fits perfectly on his wrist on the first notch with another 9 notches to go. The watch is small and does not look like a monster rock on his wrist. I did not want to spend hundreds of dollars for a watch just for it to tell time while he switches between classes or to know when a class is almost over. It shows day of week, date, time with second, pm and alarm icon. It has one alarm and when it rings it is just loud enough to hear. I wish it had an option for another for a few alarms to set but it is not a show stopper. It has a stopwatch and you can set a second time when you are on vacation in another time zone. There is a button to turn on the light if you are in dark areas to luminate the display. So far after a month and half of use by my youngest, there is no damage or breakage with the wristband or watch unit itself. The most irritating thing is that I have to go online to download the manual. Including a quick start guide or printing the instructions on or inside the box would have been nice for initial setup. Remember it is water resistance and not water proof. That means do not dunk it in a bathtub full of water!

I recently purchased the Timex Time Machines Digital 35mm Watch, and while the watch itself meets my expectations, I was disappointed with the condition of the packaging upon arrival. The watch itself is functional and straightforward to use. The digital display is clear and easy to read, making it convenient for quick time checks. The watch strap is comfortable and adjustable, ensuring a secure fit on my wrist. I appreciate the simplicity of the design, which makes it suitable for everyday wear. However, the packaging left much to be desired. The box was noticeably beat up and showed signs of wear and tear. It appeared as if the packaging had been mishandled or possibly used before. This lack of attention to detail detracted from the overall presentation and initial impression of the product. While the functionality of the watch is satisfactory, the disappointing packaging condition does affect the overall experience. As a consumer, I value receiving products in pristine condition, especially when purchasing new items.

This way I could know when it was time to go home without needing a stationary clock. It works great. I've had it more than six months and it's still going strong. All of the functions are great, although I hardly ever use the alarm. I've discovered many uses for the stopwatch, and the timer is great if you have a time limit on something you do (e.g. video games). The stretchy band works great, and I'm assuming that if I can find new batteries when the batteries burn out, I'll be wearing it for at least another ten years, probably more. I was in the UK recently, so I used the 24-hour and month.date function to adapt my watch to Britain (it can also be put on 12-hour and date-month). The stopwatch only uses even-numbered hundredths of seconds, but that's totally fine. Sometimes the buttons are a little hard to push. You have to hold them to set the watch, which is a bit painful to your fingers, but hardly. It also uses digital time, which awesome if you need to know the time quickly, or if you just can't tell time on analog watch/clock. It's a great item for the price, and I would recommend it to all.
