We have purchased several packs of these charcoal filters for cloth facemasks since covid began. They hold up well, filter out virus and pollen sized particles, are easy to change in the masks, and are a great value for the money. Since using these filters and wearing masks, we have had far fewer allergy issues, as well as cold and flu seasonal illnesses.

Love these inserts. I use them daily. Breathes easy and stays fresh longer than most.

While I was visiting my dad, he decided to order some cloth masks, and these are the PM 2.5 with a filter insert. He has a lot of health issues and was tired of wearing disposable masks that do not block smells. He was very pleased with these filters actually blocking perfume, fragrances and smells from the store and they are not to hard to breathe through. He didn't realize how much they blocked until he took his mask off. As with any thin carbon paper filter they don't block 100% of smells, but I would say they block 85-90% of fragrance and chemical odors, they worked very well for the smoke we recently had from Canada. I use them myself and I would highly recommend them.
