I AM VERY PICKY ABOUT CHRISTMAS ALBUMS. TAMAR HAS A GREAT BALANCE OF STAYING CLOSE TO THE CLASSICS BUT MAKING IT MODERN WITHOUT BEING TOO WASHED OUT WITH NEW SCHOOL SOUNDS. IT'S NOT BORING & CORNY LIKE SOME CHRISTMAS ALBUMS TEND TO BE. I GET CHILLS ON MORE THAN A FEW SONGS. YOU HAVE SOME SNAP, SOME BEATS AND PLENTY OF VOCALS TO GO ALONG WITH ELEMENTS OF CLASS & ROMANCE BEING CARRIED OUT THROUGH THE ENTIRE ALBUM. CLASSICALLY SULTRY & FRESH IS THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE. I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO IT SINCE FRIDAY AS IF IT'S HER LOVE AND WAR ALBUM. FAVORITES: 1.SLEIGH RIDE - REMINISCENT OF "BLAME IT" BY JAMIE FOXX FUN & UPBEAT. 2.SANTA BABY - SULTRY & FLIRTY AS WITH THE ORIGINAL. WOULD LOVE TO SEE A VIDEO FOR THIS WITH VINCE AS SANTA LOL 3.SANTA CLAUS IS COMING - FEELS LIKE AN R&B RECORD. HAS YOUR BOUNCE BEAT AND SNAP AND HER VOICE JUST MELTS WITH THE MELODY ON THIS ONE. 4.AWAY IN A MANGER/LITTLE DRUMMER BOY - KILLED THIS VOCALLY & I LOVE THAT IT'S ACAPELLA. MUSIC MADE SOLELY BY TAMAR'S VOICE. 5. MERRY CHRISTMAS DARLING - HAS A LEDISI TYPE BEAT. SMOOTH & HEART FELT. 6. THE CHIPMUNK SONG W/TRINA - I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE DONE THE ENTIRE SONG. HEARNG THEM SING TOGETHER WAS GREAT. JUST A 2 PART HARMONY & IT PUT CHILLS ON MY ARMS. 7. SHE CAN HAVE YOU - IS SO 80'S R&B TO ME AND I LOVE IT. IF YOU'RE ALONE DURING THE HOLIDAY'S & A TAD JILTED - THIS IS FOR YOU HONEY LOL. 8. SILENT NIGHT - VOCALS VOCALS VOCALS! 9.HAVE YOURSELF A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS - YOU CAN TELL MARIAH IS HER FAVORITE AND SHE STRONGLY SOUNDS LIKE HER AT TIMES ON THIS RECORD. IT IS CLASSIC & BEAUTIFUL. OK THAT WAS ALL OF THE SONGS EXCEPT ONE. WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU! LOL I'M ONLY DISAPPOINTED THAT SHE DIDN'T COVER "THIS CHRISTMAS." MAYBE NEXT TIME...AND I'LL BUY THAT TOO :)

Awsome, awsome. Every Christmas, I put my Christmas CD in my wake up radio, to put me in the spirit of the holidays. Well, I decided to try Tamar's, and as usual, I was not dissapointed. I loved her "love and war" album, and decided to try this one also. I am glad her husband encouraged her to do this one. I look at the Braxton on TV, and have gotten to know more about the sisters through their reality show. I knew about Toni by her music. I am looking forward to more music by Tamar and Toni, and I am sure the other sisters will soon also come into their seasons. If you want a twist on christmas music, this is a great album for purchase, you will not be disappointed.

This Album is absolutely amazing. Tamar shows that she has the voice and she should be recognized as a artist to be recon with vocally, the gift of voice, There are a lot of so called artist that exist today that CANNOT truly sing, but are thrust into super stardom. purchase this album along with Tamar debut album Love & War. You will not be disappointed. DO SLEEP ON THIS.COM !!!!

I love when Tamar is able to be in her element and "take it to church" and she does exactly that in this wonderful holiday cd. There were nice renditions to some of my favorite Christmas songs and the Chipmunks holiday song was a pleasant surprise that brought back memories. I gave several of these as stocking stuffers and received nothing but praise so in the words of Tamar "She DID that!

Tamar has done it AGAIN. Christmas music always warms the heart and not everyone can belt out strong vocals, but Tamar has that certain seasoning that can make ANY song sound spectacular. I especially enjoyed Tamar's and Trina's take on the classic Chipmunk Song. Now, Tamar can take her place alongside the other R&B Divas whose vocals send chills up the spine: Mariah, Patti, & of course, Whitney.

Tamar absolutely pit did herself with this one. This is my 4th copy. I burned a hole in the first one and then I keep a copy everywhere I have a cd player!

I truly love all that Tamar has done as well as the rest of the family , this is the kind if music that will last forever !! It's nice to hear real singers theses days she has such a tremendous vocal range it's incredible , I Luv it , all of it thank you . May Gods Blessings continue for her. Yvette

The album is not great but not bad either, it's ok....it didn't "wow" me but I am a huge fan of Tamar and she definitely can sang! Really enjoyed Santa Baby.

Got my Christmas Life! I'm very hesitant to when it comes to christmas music. But, I have to say Tamar you sang your throat off! 1. Sleigh Ride - 4/5 2. Santa Baby - 5/5 Cute. 3. Winter Loversland 4.5/5 It's been a year since i purchased the album and I still love listening to it. There's a few songs I'm not keen on has nothing to do with your voice i've just never liked the songs. But, something about your voice just makes me happy. #WontHeDoIt

Perfect Christmas album to relax to. The chipmunk song Tamar does with Trina is just too funny. Can't wait to listen to this album again for xmas2014

It's not your typical cheesy Christmas album. It has a few select Christmas songs and some originals. I would have given 5 stars if "Silent Night" was sang with a 5 part Braxton sister harmony

Average for me, could have been better. Sounds a bit rushed to be honest. There are better Christmas albums out there.
