Fantastic Product
I had a laundry faucet that was about 10 years old that had washers. I was replacing washers every couple of months because my wife kept over tightening the faucet every time she turned it off (I also may have been to blame a few times). I searched around for a washer-less faucet for a while online and in-store without a lot of luck. They were either very expensive, didn’t have a great review, or had washers. I just need something simple because it was for the laundry sink. I came across this one on Amazon and it has great reviews for a great price (The orange home improvement store wanted $20 more for the same product plus tax). I installed it 2 months ago, and I can’t say enough great things about it. It has a hard stop for the on and off so there isn’t any over tightening. It doesn’t drip for me as a couple reviews have stated. When the time comes to replace the washer-less unit, there is no searching around for parts. It uses the standard Moen cartridge used in many other Moen faucets. The only con is that you do need to find an adapter for the faucet to screw on a standard garden hose. The threads you see in the picture are not for a garden hose. I give it 5 stars for ease of install, price, looks and reliability……..and it’s a Moen.

Budget faucet that works well and is wallet friendly!
We’ve been using the Moen Chateau two-handled faucet for over a year now and it has held up very well. Our experience with Moen has been excellent. We have Moen faucets in both the bathroom shower and the bathroom sink. This faucet was installed in our utility room laundry sink, so we didn’t want an expensive faucet. We did want quality though. We upgraded our sink and decided on this faucet to finalize the new installation. It’s a budget, no frills faucet, and that’s okay; that’s what we wanted. The arced faucet works well and directs the water flow towards the center of the laundry sink. This is helpful when filling a pail of water or cleaning a larger item that requires faucet headroom. The faucet handles are firm and show no signs of leaking, even after a year of daily use. Assembly was simple and required nothing out of the ordinary for a typical faucet install. The faucet head is threaded, which enables a hose or an aerator to be installed, although this isn’t necessary. The faucet works great right out of the box. We definitely recommend the Moen Chateau faucet for anyone who needs a basic faucet at a nice price. It’s works very well for us and we expect to get many years of quality use from it.

Best for New Installation vs. Replacement, but overall good product.
I purchased this faucet to replace the old original faucet on my basement utility sink that had started to leak (it was the kind where the handles tighten and loosen a nut to allow water through vs. having actual valves). Once the old faucet was removed (which involved the purchase of an adjustable Basin Wrench for $23, lots of crud falling in my eyes as I loosened the nuts that attached the faucet to the copper water lines, and cutting pieces off with my Dremel), this faucet was a snap to attach. I appreciate that the the tighteners used to secure the faucet to the sink itself are plastic and are simply tightened down by hand. The ones I took off were metal and had corroded so badly they would never have come loose so I had to cut them off. So that was very easy to do. The only complaint I have - and maybe it's because I'm not a plumber or a handyman of any sort - is that the two nuts that are used to secure the water lines to the faucet couldn't be used. There is a nipple on the end of the water pipes that is bigger than the pipe itself, and it's that nipple that fits up in to the faucet. Then you have two nuts that are the same width as the pipe itself that you use to tighten the nipple inside the faucet and hold it in place. The problem is, you can't get the old nuts from the prior faucet over that nipple, and you can't get the new nuts that came with the faucet onto the product either! The lip of the copper nipple is bigger than the hole in the nuts. I can only assume that these parts can only be used when you're installing new pipes as well as a new faucet. Otherwise, you could never get these nuts on. This wasn't clear in the instructions, and it was frustrating fighting with it. Hence the four stars instead of five. Fortunately, the old nuts taken off the original faucet (and which were already on the pipes) fit the threads of the new faucet so everything worked out. Once fully installed, the product worked great and the handles delivered full pressure with easy turns of the handles. I'm very happy with it.

Great utility sink faucet
Great laundry room faucet. Over the last 12 years this is the 4th, and hopefully last, faucet we have used in a laundry room utility sink. Two of the previous faucets were cheap, low quality traditional faucets that used washers. The first one corroded and the spout split, with the second it was very difficult to accurately adjust the water output, and the third was a 1.7 gpm single-handed kitchen faucet. The latter was very frustrating to use because it took well over a minute to put an inch of water in the bottom of the sink. The Moen Chateau appears to have solved all of the problems associated with the other faucets. The exterior of the Moen is shiny plastic, but the spout and internal mechanism are brass. In addition, it uses a standard Moen insert that requires only a 120 degree turn from off to full on. Moen inserts last a long time, can be found in most hardware/home stores, and are easy to replace. There are good videos on Youtube demonstrating how they are installed. Best of all, this is a 4 gpm faucet! It puts an inch of water in the bottom of my sink in 12-15 seconds. Its wonderful! And once a water temperature is set, it stays at that temperature until it starts to run out of hot water.

MOEN is the BEST
This is the 2nd house we have custom built and put only MOEN products throughout the house. I like the simplicity of this faucet in my laundry room. I liked it in my last laundry room so decided to order the same one again. Repeat buyer of the same product. Nothing fancy, very simple yet great quality and looks nice. Moen really is the BEST faucet brand in my opinion.

Solid, Great Replacement for utility sink
Bought this to replace a 20+ year old leaking faucet. This Moen exceeded my expectations but a margin. ITs heavy, solid and fits a utility sink perfectly - meaning its doesn’t hang over the lip that runs around the entire sink. Valves feel solid, smooth and well made. Install was a breeze, but most faucets are. Buy it! You wont regret it.

Aerator adapter
Moen is a decent brand, yet I find the little things to be annoying. If you are selling a laundry faucet with a spout that has threads, an aerator and hose adapters should come with the faucet. Seriously an extra $6 for them to be in the box, save me from running around to find a good one. The little things !

Okay for the price.
Bought this to replace a 20yr old faucet that leaked. First off, had to call Moen Customer service because instructions for deck gasket were non existent and packed gasket just looked like foam packing material. Rep sent out a whole new bottom including same gasket so I installed as I thought. Works fine. Only complaint is that spout seems flimsy and wiggles around a bit. Works, but don't know how long this one will last.
