Works very well
I like this needle more than the Oxford needle. It fits my hand better and changing the loop length is so easy. I don’t find threading the needle to be difficult. And the price difference between the two is significant: the Oxford is more attractive buI I really just want my finished needlework to be attractive.

Worst punch needle tool out there!
This tool is horrible. First off it does not slide through the material without you having to push really hard and then it just rips a hole in it. Second it is so rusted I had to clean it up because it was staining my fabric. The surface of the metal tip is so rough that once you are able to get it through the fabric it doesn't want to come out. Save yourself the hassle and spend a few more dollars on a different one. I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased this item. If I could have given it no stars I would have.

Poor quality
I ordered this to go with an MCG Textiles punch needle rug kit since it's the same company. It looks pretty sturdy, until you start using it. The tip is very wide, dull, and tarnished making it really hard to push through the fabric. After a few punches, the needle portion started sinking into the base, making it impossible to use. Not durable or high quality by any means. Save the frustration and order a better quality needle. It's worth the extra cost to have a tool that works!

Do your research, easy to use.
Made for very thick yarn and large weave fabric. May be user error. Make sure to buy the right fabrics.

Broke the first time I used it
Do not buy this product. I bought it because it was an “amazon choice” and within my FIRST time using it, it broke. The needle part of this product is stuck inside the grip so it is now unusable. It’s frustrating that I just wasted 15$ on a product, so I would not trust the positive reviews on this product. DON’T BUY.
