Working in conjunction with the sensor, the EXPEED 5 image processor provides a continuous shooting rate of up to 51 continuous frames. With an expandable sensitivity range from ISO 32 to 102400, you can record 4K UHD video using the full range of DX crop or full-frame sensors. 8K time-lapse recording mode is also available, and special recording mode for digitizing film negatives and focusing stacking applications. The advantage of the imaging capabilities is the advanced Multi-CAM 20K 153-point AF system. It debutes with the flagship D5 and offers 99 cross-type sensors that provide sophisticated focus accuracy under a variety of lighting conditions.
