This review is after using the product for one year. It is one of the most accurate digital thermometer I have ever used. Way better than gun shaped digital thermometer. The display is bright and big. Temperature can be checked in 5 seconds without physical contact. Highly beneficial while measuring temperature for my 2 years old kid. It's sturdy. Fallen on floor number of times , still going strong. Expensive. But worth the purchase.

Have compared it with digital and mercury thermometers and the readings are highly inaccurate. One of the worst purchases made till date.

Absolutely good. i trust its accuracy. globally reputed brand in medical devices. Worked for 2 years and display stopped working. Service center is good and replaced with working one. One issue: If we remove battery , it changes from Fareheit to celcius mode. chaging back to Farehheit is very complex.

Itom mismatch I can no replesment I want return

I've been using a Braun Thermoscan for years now, and didn't want to look elsewhere. But considering this is a German product, I decided to give it a shot. It's extremely easy to use, and I like the flexibility of having an in-ear, and forehead reading in one device. However, comparing the reading to my Brain thermometer, there's a difference of 1°F (Braun shows higher). So, whenever I take a reading, I add the difference. I'm not sure which one is more accurate, but since I've been using the Braun Thermoscan for years, I like to believe that it's more accurate than this one.

You need to read the manual, but when you learn how to use this thermometer right, it's really convenient, quick and accurate. Seems to have good battery life too. I wish there was a case or a storage bag included though.

il prodotto si presenta piccolo ma solido, da' una buona sensazione in mano, le misurazioni sono molto affidabili e costanti, specie in modalita' a contatto. Pulsanti comodi e di ottima qualita' e "feeling". Come tutti i termometri di questo tipo richiede una certa manualita' nell'uso. Termometro e paziente devo essere nello stesso ambiente per un periodo minimo di tempo, sudore e umidita' della fronte alterano e rendono incostante il risultato, una misurazione a contatto, o il tenerlo troppo tempo in mano, cambia la temperatura dell'oggetto-termometro e puo' dare risultati diversi se ripetuta immediatamente, l'introduzione nell'orecchio cambia anche "l'ambiente"... insomma bisogna avere alcune semplici precauzioni di uso per avere risultati affidabili. Prodotto perfetto? No, la mia critica principale e' la mancanza della retro-illuminazione del display, si legge bene ma bisogna "andare alla luce" per leggerlo. L'altra e' una critica progettuale sulla scelta di uso dei pulsanti. Quello grande di accensione si usa anche x la misurazione auricolare, quindi x la misurazione "normale" bisogna prima accendere con uno e poi spostarsi su quello piu' piccolo anteriore. Considero poco logica questa scelta, ritengo che sarebbe preferibile e piu' rapido avere accensione+misurazione "normale" sul piu' grande e quello anteriore x l'orecchio, anche perche' bisogna togliere il cappuccio davanti. Aggiungo che la batteria e' sotto un coperchio serrato con una vite. Assurdo secondo me. In sintesi: buon prodotto affidabile anche se con qualche problema di logica progettuale. Eccellente se lo trovate in offerta.
