Wonka Rainbow Nerds Candy, 141 Grams, Mixed Fruit

Nerds and other Wonka candies are ubiquitous in America. It was then inevitable that I, an Indian with the American dream, had to try them. Only after ordering did I see the negative reviews, which I reckon have to do more with the previous seller that was selling these than the product itself. Cloudtail delivered these reasonably well, and the pack of Nerds was undamaged, though the Amazon packaging could have been handled better. On to the candies themselves. These are sweet and sour, and variable in size. There is a tab on top of the pack that has a perforation through which one can serve others the candies, or enjoy them themselves. Because of their variable size, which varies from diminutive to slightly smaller than a bonbon, they make excellent sprinkles for ice cream, and that is indeed one of the serving suggestions. As with the chips brands Lay's (or so Frito-Lay claims anyway) and Pringles, the saying "You can't eat just one" is completely valid for these candies. And by virtue of being so small, you get a lot of candies in the pack, so that these are value for money, even if they are slightly on the more expensive side. But then, I did not shy away from spending an unreasonable amount of money on Toxic Waste (which I've also reviewed) sour candies, which though much pricier, are less value for money, and were bought by me only so that my best friend and I could take the Toxic Waste challenge. Overall, I'm very happy with the candies I bought, and will not hesitate before trying other Wonka candies like the Gobstopper and other Nerds flavours, provided the seller is Cloudtail, and not the other one which has been so universally panned by reviewers. Marvelous!

Must buy

I loved these as a kid and wanted to taste them again. They tasted good, but they seemed a bit old. The color had faded, and all the flavored coating was crumbling off. So it was like a fine sand in the box. It also didn't have much crunch, like it was stored with too much humidity and absorbed moisture. Maybe that is why it was crumbly.

My kid wanted it so I bought it and it was very tasty 😋 and they wanted more of it so I recommend it

Bad quality. I didn't get the nerds box i wanted. The flavours were completely different. The packet came in wet and all the candy inside was wet too. Really really bad product. I'm not able to return it either.

These nerds are the right amount of sweet and sour. They are fun to eat and taste great. This is a good size to take to the movies and share.
