I've finally found the Holy Grail of travel mugs!
This mug is bombproof! It keeps my coffee hot for hours and looks pretty slick too! The day I brought it to work everyone on site asked where I got it.It holds a ton of coffee, and it's tough, I've dropped this off of scaffolding as high up as 12'.The only thing that'll be 'weird' at first is that it doesn't have a handle...but I got over that quickly. The other thing that you need to be aware of is that the base is a lot wider than most travel mugs. So if you buy this exclusively for your car, you'll be wasting your cash. These little things are easy for me to trade off because the thing just works so well for it's intended use.One more thing is that this mug does not seal up airtight. I've read some reviews that say it leaks when it's on it's side...this mug is upright only! It's spill resistant, not spill-proof people.

Best Travel Mug I Have
Received my mug. It's fantastic! Just like the thermos I've had for 30+ years, just a smaller version. As others have commented, the button is firm, but no problem for me. I am a man and have a very firm grip. I'm a man who discovered the wheel and built the Eiffel Tower out of metal and brawn. That's what kind of man I am.

Not quite perfect
Really a great mug with a big fault; it's too big for my vehicle's cup holder. I was really surprised to find this out. I bought the 20 oz version and since I own a Ford F350 with large cup holders, I assumed it wouldn't be an issue. It is. The travel mug doesn't fit. That stinks. As for the mug itself, it's really, really nice. Keeps coffee HOT for hours. Easy to clean. Seems really solid. I wouldn't worry about it getting knocked around a bit. It is made in China which disappoints me some.I guess I'll now be purchasing a smaller version so I can actually travel with a travel mug. The 20 oz version will be retired to a home mug for those Sunday morning outdoor projects.

Got Strength?
I've had Stanley items in my household for years. I thought this mug would be a good replacement for an old Starbucks mug. I'm not sure if mine is unique, but the button that opens the stopper is ridiculous to push. At times, to fully open it, I have to use both hands to open it fully. I can't imagine anyone with less than strong hands trying to get a drink of coffee. I plan on replacing it soon with another stainless Starbucks mug. Last one lasted 12 years.

liking this cup~
although I waited several weeks for the cup to arrive, I was happy with it, but wished I ordered one size down. It does not fit under my Kurig coffee maker...I used it for the first time today(it arrived this morning) I heated it first with hot water and proceeded to pour my coffee from another cup into it. Its been several hours now, and my coffee is still warm(not hot like some day) I have a million travel cups and this one is my favorite already. I might just order another one in the smaller version though..I feel like I am drinking from a thermos

The Best Coffee Mug Ever - Seriously!
I've got a cupboard full of commuter mugs and thermal coffee cups that are all junk in comparison. For 10 years I've toted around various cups that leak, don't fit well in cup holders, fall apart or have stupendous timing when releasing dishwasher water from various nooks and crannies once I've left the house. Nothing says "I'm having a bad morning" like a lap full of coffee or water drips from a crappy travel mug.I'll admit that I was more than a little wary spending this kind of dough on a coffee cup. After trying everything else, I expected this to be better, but not as good as it is. I'm just impressed (Ask my wife, she's tired of hearing me talk about a coffee cup!).Lets start with the thing that bothers me most about other mugs that have a button or baffle in the lid. CLEANING IT! The lid on this is extremely easy to take apart, exposing the "button" area and making it super easy to clean. Pop it apart, drop it in the silverware basket in your dishwasher, and it's all clean. No nooks and crannies to gunk up (and make you never want to drink coffee again). The next thing I have noticed is how insanely long it keeps my coffee warm! If I put coffee in it in the morning, and forget about it until after lunch, its still good to go. In fact, I went sledding with my kids last weekend and poked it into a snow bank for about 2 hours... came back and drank my hot cocoa. Now, that's insulated! It fits nicely in the cup holders in both of my vehicles. It is a little tall, but you quickly get over it when you realize that if you do tip it over, or knock it completely out and onto the floor, nothing is coming out. It's watertight, period! I even threw it into my backpack and still, no leaks. The plastic lid is actually a good thing, tamping down the effects of hot liquids beneath, it stays cool enough to not burn your lips. Finally, it's very cool looking. I grew up in the 80's and those old green Stanley's were everywhere when I was a kid. I love the way it looks (in green or black for that matter) and it's built to last. The other cups in my cupboard have been there, untouched, ever since I brought this home. I wash it and use it every day, and I don't see that changing...
