DataWax Wax Remover Base Cleaner 150ml

Perfect wax remover and cleaner. I used this on my board before going to Alpe D'Huez. My board was very dirty and hadn't been cleaned properly apart from a wipe down, in a few years, it's a Never Summer SL. I usually waxed my board once a year from the shop but this was the first time I'd decided to do it myself with a waxing kit and this cleaner was absolutely essential.I used it a few times on the base and top with a scowering pad and it did an amazing job, removed all the old wax and had the board looking brand new(4 years old board).IMO essential product for cleaning you board and removing all the old wax before you do a new wax job, and reasonable priced too

Does the trick but the bottle leaks so store it upright!

Cleaned the wax off the base prior to repair, worked really well and PTex adhesion after was excellent.

Disgusting!! Smell is overpowering, it says contains petroleum on it and from the smell & greasiness I doubt there are any other ingredients other than that! It doesn't even work, doesn't strip any wax off. Leaves such a greasy surface I had to take my skis & snowboard outside to wash them off under the hose pipe then dry them off with a rag to have any hope of being able to wax them new again! But they still stink - so brilliant, I'm going on holiday with a ski bag & kit that now stink of a mixture of petrol & white spirit. What an awful product, no idea where the good reviews come from. Doesn't strip wax, & leaves kit smelling of a fuel station. I will not be buying again- will get my normal Swix can. I recommend to stay well clear of this product!!

Worked well on my snowboard and small size will still last me years of occasional snow trips.
