The EZ Lock system is brilliant: no tiny screws, no fumbling with a screwdriver, just pop it on and you’re cutting in seconds. It really does make accessory changes way faster. They slice through plastic and plexiglass cleanly, with minimal melting or rough edges. They also last longer than the standard fiberglass-reinforced wheels — but let’s be real, if you’re doing a lot of cutting, you’ll still go through them. At this price point, I’ve already blown through a couple of packs without regret. Bottom Line: Fast changes, clean cuts, and decent durability for the job. They work great… until you need another pack. And you will.

I recently had the opportunity to use the Dremel EZ476 1 1/2 inch EZ Lock Rotary Tool for plastic cutting, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The thin wheels did work but after doing the 2 spurs, the cutting wheel was done for. Next time I will try the regular and not the thin wheel. I placed the rooster's spur on a piece of tile and then I cut through the spur so as not to hit the concrete below.

Another nice dremal cutting wheel & w/ the ohh-so-much-nicer-to-use e-z lock. If you havent or arent sure about purchasing the EZ lock mandrel, do it! ButThats another review for another day... plastic cut-off wheel: looks exactly like the other cut-off wheels, but plastic doesnt get stuck on nor clog the wheel, cuts quite quickly, clean & straight depending on what your cuting and your control/grip of the tool. No bells or whistles just simply does as its meant to, I would definitly recommend using some hand/face or eye protection,or the guard attatchment, even if you dont normally because [1] the direction the tool rotates & debris flys off the wheel (as rotary tool users already know) and [2] the plastic gets hot and is flung from tool while cutting: you dont want hot plastic landing & burning or melting into your skin/eyes,.

What can be said, their Dremel, they were exactly as advertised and arrived on the promised date, 36 hours after they were ordered & at a better price than your box stores delivered to my doorstep, no walking down isles, just let your fingers do the walking for you. It doesn't get much better than that!

Great product. Fair price. Thin cutting wheel can be used to free up stripped screws. Simply cut a deeper screwdriver slot in the steel or brass screw head. Cut a deeper slot in a steel screw head like butter.

I can get a perfect cut on jumprings with this disk. I place the coil on the appropriate sized wooden dowel and proceed to cut with my Dremel and flex shaft. The quality of the cut is comparable to a sawn ring and the process is so much faster and easier. I have used the regular separating disk, but the cut was thick and did not have the professional, polished look of their sawn counterparts. This thin-cut disk solves that problem! Just be sure to wear your safety goggles if you use it this way, the rings are sometimes literally jumprings! It does not happen often, but once is enough to damage an eye! That said, this tool has saved me so much time and effort and my rings are beautiful. I will never go back to sawing them.

The first set I ordered from Amazon all broke within seconds. I contacted Dremel and a reprehensive (Victoria) contacted me. She told me they've re-tooled and sent me a new set. Kudos to Dremel for caring about their customers! PREVIOUSLY: I'm very disappointed in Dremel! 15 to 30 seconds into a project the center would pop out of the disc. Every wheel in the package. 2 different projects. If this was a cheap knockoff imitation, I would understand, but not Dremel. Someone must have fallen asleep in their quality control department. I've been using Dremel EZ Lock cutting wheels and sanding discs since they first came out. So, I'm not a first time user. I usually wear them down to the hub, not have the disc just pop off. These are no good. Don't waste your money!

Good quality cut-off wheels and the EZ Lock system makes changing them quick and painless. Used on plastic sheet and they performed as expected. I experienced some melting on polycarbonate, which I suspect was user error rather than the discs. No issues with durability and they lasted well.
