Bought a 6' and 10' to secure a Self-Retracting Lifeline to various supportive "things" while safely working at any height in the field doing construction. Very well made and adds to my complete faith in my equipment to support me at any height so I can work worry free and get the job done safely. Although designed in the US by an American company, it is made in China.

I have to pull flags at 50 feet and I feel very safe when using this equipment. Very sturdy.

ease of use up to a certain size tree... two foot tree is six feet in circumference so no tree that size... as it is six feet long... but maybe twenty inch will be ok... i've got a pine that size and we will see... i think it will work..

As a beginner arborist I found myself climbing a dead tree with no bark for my spurs. I had no canopy branches available for friction saver or pulley. Using a DRS for climbing, two of these KwikSafety chokers were used , one as safety fall arrest and intermittent stops while the other unit was shuttled up and up like a mobile friction saver. carried my weight without slipping down the tree trunk. On my way up I added anchor bolts for additional fall arrest but were never needed.
