I always have this on hand! It’s a thick, multi‑purpose wound cream that is used to soothe and protect sores, cuts, abrasions, galls and saddle rubs. The formula softens and lubricates damaged skin while its antiseptic properties work to prevent infection. And it’s specially designed to stay in place without rubbing or sweating off, even while your horse is working! It really does seem to heal quickly! It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done and is one of those products you’ll be glad to have in your tack trunk!

My horse gets hall sores after prolonged riding so I use to prevent it and it works. It’s beast and gets all over the girth and stirrups but I would not donut any other way. It is very expensive for the amount you get and the amount needed for each use. I use a rubber gloves to avoid having to go back to wash it off cause it is sticky and greasy and hard to remove, but that is what is what makes it effective to sooth existing sores and prevent new ones.

Put on a closed but still healing rope burn and worked, softening the scar, in one application. My horse was noticably happy!

I used this when my horse get girth galls, everyone always say its from a dirty girth, NO its not! when your horse has sensitive skin in that area in my case my spotted saddle horse has a lot of skin behind here elbows. She gets really sensitive in that area if I don't stretch her out to move the skin where the girth goes. So this stuff is a life saver . I hate to see my horses in discomfort and this really helps her out. This is my second purchase of this stuff I like to keep this on hand in case of emergency.

works to heal sores from horseplay ...slowly. waiting for hair to grow back in those spots and doesn't repel the biting insects.

This stuff is awesome, live in Florida,it's wet and hot, so loads of issues with skin, this works wonders and my horse, crabby mare, let's me put it on no issues. She knows it makes it better.

We discovered this salve when trailriding and my horse was gaulded very badly as it appeared he was allergic to his new neoprene girth. When unsaddling we discovered the horrible touchy, bare, rubbed raw skin area and it was already swelling. Went to the saddle shop on the grounds and discussed the problem with store staff. They highly recommeded it so we purchased it....went back and applied to my horse who was very flinchy and didn't want me to touch the area as very painful.....but it has menthol in it and soothing. Once I got some on, he realized it helped, so applied couple more times during the evening although it was still on the wound, but I wanted it on deep......by morning all swelling was gone and although wasn't healed, we left him in stall that day as luckily we took a spare horse just in case something might happen ....stone bruise, gauld, etc.....by 2nd morning I was able to once again ride him. We were in southern Missouri in the National forests riding so was very steep inclines. I now order it in large size as recently had another horse go through barb wire fencing in the night, and broke off steel post so by morning was very hot and swollen, multiple cuts and bruises. I tried several things over couple days, but flies are horrible in summer........so then went to trailer and got this out, applied it to the wound areas and the swelling went down, flies stayed off, it stayed moist so hopefully won't be scarring across his palomino chest.....

Works great on sensitive horses to prevent the from getting galls under the cinch Also works well to protect any rubbed spots
