Here buying a 2nd one. Perfect EDC pocket size. Used it now several weeks and the wife wants one for her purse. I bumped the top button accidentally and it stayed on in my pocket, but it had a lock setting if you hold the button down to go through modes. I don’t want it locked but that feature is there if needed. I like the single press for low beam and the quick double press for max beam. Simple! It’s made well and the charge port is sealed so it’s probably moisture proof. Out of 4 types I have, this is my favorite flashlight. Only thing missing is that it’s not magnetic.

I’ll start by saying I NEVER write reviews but this light deserves one. I’ve had it since April of last year and carried it in my pocket almost every day. It’s an awesome light. Awesome size, brightness, and functionality. The waterproofing works great. I have washed it in the sink multiple times when it got dusty. The other day I heard a noise in the dryer, went to look and realized I had left it in a pocket. The light survived being run through the clothes washer and most of a cycle in the hot dryer and works just like day 1. My only complaint is that the button is too easy to hit in your pocket. I have done this several times and run the battery down. I find that using the lock feature is not usually quick enough for my use. I ordered a thrunite tn12 to use instead for this reason but I’ll continue to use this around the house and garage. It’s an awesome light!

This light is considerably better than others I have gotten over the years. I got, most recently, a Thrunite Archer mini. It was OK, not as bright as this one, and no dimming. But it was also small. Too small. I lost it... This has a good adjustment for the brightness. Another reviewer said that was hard to deal with, but I find it quite intuitive. It's larger than the Archer mini, but still easy to carry around just in case.

The ThruNite Archer Pro V2 is a solid everyday carry flashlight with good build quality and materials. It feels durable and the beam pattern is nice with decent focus. Brightness is good, but honestly not as bright as my previous 700-lumen flashlight, which was a bit disappointing. Charge time is okay, and I like that it uses USB-C for charging. The cost is reasonable for what you get, and it’s very convenient for pocket carry. However, I ended up returning it for a couple of reasons. The flashlight scratches easily, which is frustrating for an EDC item. Also, the pocket clip was excessively strong yet didn’t attach securely to the flashlight, making it awkward to use. Overall, it works as advertised, but these issues were deal-breakers for me. Pros: Good build quality and materials USB-C charging Beam pattern and focus are decent Comfortable for EDC pocket carry Cons: Not as bright as expected compared to similar models Scratches easily Clip is overly strong and not secure

I use it for delivery driving. Oh man is it useful to see numbers on mailboxes. Usually your car's headlights shoot under the mailbox so it is nice to have this to light up the mailbox and look for the number. Also sometimes you deliver to folks with ditches in their front yard, dogs, furniture, what have you...this is esential for a delivery driver if you ask me. I just keep it in my car and charge it with the same USB-C I use for my phone when I need to. I have not encountered a aggressive dog in a while..but if I do I may try out the strobe mode to mess with the dog. This isn't the kind of thing that is gonna light up the whole street but it is not a pen light either. It's just right for delivery driving if you ask me.
