This little stand is made of bars of aluminum alloy of some sort. Well made, heavier than it appears which adds to its stability.Stability - I am pleasantly surprised that you can type on the stand even at its outstretched height. A couple of stands warn you not to try typing “..it will cause you confusion”. But I understand. LolThis little stand for $25 is well worth it. I’ve only had it and used it for about 10 days, however the more I use it the more I lojme it.The articulating arms have just the right amount of pressure to hold my mini iPad 5 steady. Two stands I’ve ordered and sent back could not hold the weight or were “tippy” because there wasn’t enough weight on the stand base.This stand does not have that issue at all. There are now adjustments on the articulating arm joints. So we shall see how they last over time.At this point I highly recommend.

About two years ago, I had purchased an adjustable metal stand for my laptop. I can adjust the height to reduce neck stress and discomfort. I found this stand, ordered it right away,, Its perfect. I use it for my iPad mini, or iPad when at the kitchen table. its heavy, and sturdy, although, I had reached for something when my iPad was in it, and knocked it over.. I was reaching for something behind it.. Yup,, Im clumsy, Please do not hold that against the stand. I can adjust it any height I need it to be.. GREAT

I needed a stand to hold my 11" Android Tablet when doing a lot of interacting with it. This stand met my needs as it is sturdy and solid. It holds the tablet firmly and rotates to accommodate this annoying apps that insist on running in portrait mode only. I am very pleased with this stand. Now, if I could only find a Bluetooth keyboard with mouse, it would be ideal.

I like the unit a lot with one exception. Works great when in the horizon position, but when you turn my iPad I have notice the iPad will slowly slide down. That is annoying, especially if you want to doing any kind of work with tablet in the vertical position. I have to say that is the only thing that I dislike. Otherwise the stand does everything I wanted and yes I would buy it again, in fact my wife has made hints she would like one as well

Use the stand to hold a second monitor for my laptop. I have cats who get on the desk to say hi, and rub against everything. Once I got this stand, I no longer worried about the cats knocking over the second monitor. The clamp is tight enough to hold the monitor securely, and heavy/sturdy enough that I don't worry about the cats knocking it over. I quit looking for a stand when I got this.

Bought one and overtightened one of the bolts. Broke it within 15 minutes of opening the package.

It worked well at first, but the grip strength of the spring isn't strong enough to hold the tablet in portrait mode. The tablet slides down slowly.Unfortunate, because I really liked it, but it isn't a product that holds up to the test of time.I'm working on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 Ultra. So it's at the large end. It would probably be fine with a smaller, lighter tablet, so take heed if you have a big tablet like me.

Originally received product but without clamp - however the seller reached out immediately and rectified the situation by sending a model with a clamp.The base and primary arm are extremely solid and dense, the clamp and small connector attached to the metal arm are plastic however, so bear that in mind. I use it with my iPad mini 6 and it’s perfect. The clamp “ends” are rubber, so it won’t damage/scratch your case. I’ll be uploading some photos to show what it looks like. I can actually slip my iPad mini 6 into the clamp horizontally without even having to expand the clamp. Vertically, the clamp can expand enough to grip the iPad mini 6. Definitely enjoy the Product, thank you to the seller team for responding so quickly.
